Hogwarts Legacy

What are some missing features that would've kept you playing?

I'm not bashing the game, as it's my dream game, but I still feel that it's lacking so much that would've made the experience much more immersive. With that being said, it's still Avalanche Studio's first attempt at a game like this, and it's a massive step in the right direction so far. Hopefully HL 2 doesn't take all of that hype away.

more kino mods

More school and house mechanics, the game was very generic meanwhile everyone was hoping for a school sim.

something to do in this open world more than 4 repetetive activities
this was fun game and i enjoyed it a lot, but after unlocking most things i wanted to just finish it as fast as possible, because outside of some missions it just kind of felt like an ubigame (but better).
i actually wanted to replay it sometime ago, but nah, my backloog is too big.

Sex

Any semblance of the nemesis system the devs were known for

Where tf is hagrid??

dating mechanics so i can date the guy from slytherin.
not gay or trans but my guy deserved some pussay for all the shit he went through

More monster variety
Redone monster animations so they dont slide
More content that isn't copypaste
Minigames that you can play more than one time
Quidditch
Superbosses
More shit to do in the castle because it felt sovless
Roguelite dungeon(s) or something that is very replayable

They still have time to do some of this since they will be releasing a definitive edition in summer.

1. Quidditch
2. Mandatory Weekday Classes
3. More shit to do in Hogwarts in general
4. More meaningful interactions with your companions and other students
5. Vanilla means of taking your companions on adventures with you
6. Visitable Diagon Alley
7. Rideable Hogwarts Express

In a better world I'd have asked for more focus on school life, like dating mechanics or something like Social Link from Persona.

In this clown world this would mean more gay and trans shit, so I'm not sure I'd ask the monkey paw.

I'll tell you fuckin what, I didn't buy this game to NOT fuck a blonde magic supremacist girl in the Slytherin dungeon.

Why would I, a Gen Z man, want to play as a 16 year old?
I'll never understand Millennials and their childhood fixation, I want a HP game where I can fuck McGonnagall

My roommate used this game to reveal to me he is an ephebophile (a normal guy).
He modded the shit out of the game to make his high school girl look cute as fuck and showed me the game for like an hour.
He doesn't know what Anon Babble is and I don't talk about it with him so I pretended to not notice how different his character looked to what I knew the characters looked like.

Made me have a lot of respect for him.

Gigachad roommate

there should be some consequence for learning and using forbidden magic, or just don't bother having it as a feature, it's so immersion breaking

He's a great guy. If a game has twintails hairstyle he will use it in every single game.

Most people wanted Hogwarts Stardew Valley with good graphics and we got cinematic game slop.

I don't want any sheboon mud hut bitches telling me Wakanda Hogwarts is so majestic and amazing and they don't use wands down there.

The ultimate endpoint is a real digital hogwarts. Have it simulate the full year, and the years going thru it. Holidays, events, the sports season, bikini summer, the works.

enjoyed playing on the weekends when I had nothing to do and getting high, flying around and doing all the random missions and just exploring the world

download some simple QOL mods and outfits

really loved the art style and finding random unmarked spots on the map that show off something cool like a spiral road or a neat vista

loved exploring the academy

figure 'fuck it' and decide to 100% it

get to the end of the game

start completing all the little trials and exploration things

somehow missing a bunch of missions

can't go back and get them

forever doomed to not 100% it since I don't want to make a brand new game

it's so over

Set it at Ilvermorny instead of Hogwarts because, as a red blooded American, I hate the British.

Rowling came up with that African wizard concept years before this game came out, but wandless magic in general is part of the original canon, it's just more difficult to use

OP here, I agree with these so far, thanks for your replies. We definitely need minigames that don't go away after you finish beat the champion, a more immersive school experience with mandatory classes, and yes we need a romance sim as well, but with the HL2 rumored to be following alongside HBO Harry Potter series, I don't know how much of a possibility that is.

more shit to do inside Hogwarts, like classes and shit.

Hogwarts Legacy is getting some DLC soon with a supposed 10-15 hours of new content, hopefully that will address some of the gripes people have had with the game

What are some missing features that would've kept you playing?

Maybe if you made some new DLC with new story content. Other than that, I won't keep playing single player games after I finished the main story.

I'm suprised WB was too stupid to make new DLC content to keep milking their players. But I guess they were too butthurt about JK Rowling making more money that they made sure to stop any DLC. Missed oppertunity there.

troon.ack

- More variation in challenge and gear. Everywhere had a similar challenge level and every piece of gear you found had only mildly varying stats. Risk/reward is non-existent because the experience is static throughout
- Quidditch, obviously
- More reasons to come back to Hogwarts after you leave because it's by far the most interesting location
- More use of key locales, Ministry, Azkaban etc
- More fucking Garlick

Good post

They're actually developing DLC right now (which is also expected to be part of a re-release called Hogwarts Legacy: Directors Cut), you can also see that the Steam version has been seeing a lot of depot activity since the last public update done 4 months ago.

Why do you faggots pretend to care about pozzed, souless AAA slop based on a woman franchise???????

Yeah it's supposed to be a "directors cut" that hopefully adds a substantial amount of missing content that adds to the replay value of the game. I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet until we hear more about this though.

New game plus and more content per house. Like if each house had it's own unique spell or combat plant or potion and you learn by doing a quest based out of the common room. Maybe even have student in each house that has a little side hustle and is buying and selling stuff just to give you a reason to go to the common room more often.

I like the story but there is no reason to do 2nd playthrough with how little diverging content there is. At most you start the game 3 extra times and play to the 1 house exclusive mission and honesty the first hour or two of the game is so hand holdy with menu navigation and game mechanics that it's not worth it, just watch a youtube video of it.

Because it's sometimes comfy to just explore and hang around in places designed around a genuine feminine mindset.

DLC will tell us a lot on what the future vision is for HL. It was hugely successful, the tranny boycott meant nothing. If despite this in the DLC we see appeasement attempts to woke shit, then you'll know it's pozzed beyond saving. "They" will never create something of value, so they focus on hijacking. Is there a way to see a list of the staff, like writers and producers for HL2?

Would have been nice if the story was actually somewhat affected by which house you were in.

We kinda already have some expectations about the sequel
1. It will likely not be a continuation of the first game's story and will be put closer to if not be a side story to the main Harry Potter story to compliment the upcoming TV show
2. It will "probably" not be a live service game

It was, but only during the Jackdaw quest. Like for example, if you picked Hufflepuff, you would be able to temporarily visit Azkaban

the Jackdaw quest

I don't remember that one, and while there was indeed some influence, It'd be nice if your "friends" (with you being closer to the ones in your house) helped out more in the whole trials business.
