tetris
Fuck, well I tried
Still Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, but with the in game sprites because they had to compress it the fuck down to get it onto the PS1 disc.
Yet it still looks fucking amazing.
Dwarf fortress
F-Zero GX
Tetris
Yet it still looks fucking amazing.
Then it's not a 1/10 artstyle. A 1/10 artstyle is something that genuinely looks bad.
Quake
Something can look like arse and still be amazing because it's in the eye of the beholder, dummy.
Of course, but that anon clearly didn't think it looked bad.
If this game could be remade with a non-flash game visual space, it would be possible to expose others confidently to what is easily one of the best games ever made, and the only SCP-esque game that's actually a legitimately good game.
Caves of Qud
Ocarina of Time
Extremely based, capcoms magnum opus

That catastrophically bad commercial wasn't a bug, it was a feature
Lobco's gameplay systems are flawed as fuck and nowhere near a 10/10 and I say this beating the game 3 times.
picks the DmC game with the worst gameplay
Bloodborne (:
i can't listen to any version of this song that doesn't include Dimitri screeching in the background, it's just not the same
That's an easy one.
ENTER ASTLIBRA REVISION
Every """flaw""" you can find with the game assists its measure in the greater whole. Name one that is not either a skill issue or an intended element of functionality.
what about the part where the story sucks
Oh that's easily resolved by having an IQ higher than 70 or not being an ESL.
Metroid Prime
inb4 Undertale
that didnt fix it ill try reinstalling the game
every tool abno except for like 3 being completely and utterly useless. Its clear most of them were intended to be useful for meltdowns like Giant Tree Sap for day 47 when all the regenerators get turned off but theyre just soooo bad its not even worth your time.
Super Metroid
Super Castlevania IV
Chrono Trigger
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Hmm, I'm seeing a trend here...

Their purposes are in wedge cases where you might find their applications more viable than trying to deal with the facility in a standard manner. We Can Change Anything, for example, can be significantly safer for progress when you have all kinds of Qliphoth Meltdown threats and Alephs running around in scenarios where a Midnight Ordeal could also be an immediate reset. It's not advised to throw an EXGod into there, but having a lot of cracked Red Damage resistance means you'll be able to complete days more safely than rolling dice with Nothing There/Censored/Silent Orchestra and their temperamental bullshit. You Must Be Happy also has a role in buffing agents such that you can easily have them uproot sticky targets like Violet Midnight or Gebura without too much threat assessment needed. They aren't just pure bonuses, they need situations where they shine the most (similarly to the other abnos) and are most potent if you apply them properly.
10/10 masterpiece of all time
youtube.com
Easy
i dare you to 1
they need situations where they shine the most
and those situations are so few and far between, along with being less convienent and useful that you never use them ever. Again why would you ever gamble having an EX ranked Agent instantly die to GTS when you could just wait in a hallway or use HP bullets? Why bother with the ballerina tool that heals SP when you can just wait in a hallway or use SP bullets?

Chrono Trigger
inb4 press X to win can't be 10/10 gameplay!
combat is snappy, and many bosses give a decent challenge if you're not over leveled.
I beat that game without even knowing how the fuck the gameplay even worked. I kinda just went straight through the entire game bulldozing everything without issue
homm3, simple as
GTS
Netzach Core Suppression or in a wedge case I've seen it used to survive Chesed picking Red and having otherwise innocuous breaches like Punishing Bird being beaten out by the regen, though I agree in general you should never /need/ to use this thing when you've got standard means of healing otherwise.
Theresia
You got me, I can't really think of a use for this one that I've experienced personally. That being said, most of them have wedge applications, it's a bit dishonest to use one or two examples and write the entirety of their potential off because they aren't constant buffs against every single scenario in the game. You could go so far as to say why have Black Shield Bullet when all of the abnos in your facility are using Red Damage, or why use Execution Bullets when you simply avoid Mountain of Smiling Corpses/Judgement Bird/etc. There's purpose to your tools if you're willing to use them when they shine most.
Chrono Trigger is an RPG for people who don't actually like RPGs
you dont play RPGs
DmC
Ultima 4
t. Secondary
tight controls depend solely on skill
legendary ost
great story with limited branching endings
sublime artistic direction
If I wouldn't give it to this I would give it to Deus Ex HR or Batman AC.
I name those two because the other tool abnos are so useless I cant even remember wtf they do but after refreshing my memory with the wiki there is:
heart of aspiration
behavioral adjustment
time machine
mirror of stat jumbling
all of these are useful and good
Meanwhile every other tool abnos has some kind of instant death clause tacked onto it that makes it extremely difficult to make it be useful. Its like getting +.01% stat bonus in an rpg except your character has a random chance to just instantly fucking die. The detriment outweighs the benefit to such a degree that its never worth touching in a game about keeping plates spinning.
I like you, mang

Dota 2
Bug Fables is the closest I can think of.
How else has it maintained a playerbase for 17 years and counting
I know frogposters are retarded, but don't tell me you think magicka actually looks good. Braids art style is pretentious trash but the game is good. Maybe not all tens hence the question mark.
Not to even get started on magicka shitting up the original vision with even shittier dlc costumes.

I quit this game 15 minutes in over the art style. Some friends on discord saw the name come up on steam and asked me to stream it because it sounded interesting, theit reactions were literally "ew what the fuck?"
Tragic cause the concept interested me.
I would have gone with Halo 2 if not for that cliffhanger ending
