They film for like up to 14 hours for a long challenge, and like 45 minutes of that at most makes it into the episode. I'm sure there's plenty of dead time, but the lines that get laughs are always gonna make it into the final edit.

If you're really into video games I think it's still interesting to watch at least once. I haven't watched in a long time, but I used to love watching GCCX before bed. (I would end up falling asleep halfway through a lot of episodes but, then I would just watch those again the next night). It really is a great slow burn, anti ADD, show though. I'm almost surprised it still exists in this generation of over stimulation.

After the epic, years-long struggle against the first Punch Out, they clearly had no appetite for a repeat. I think they genuinely dislike the series. Super Punch Out was maybe the most disappointed I've been after a challenge in recent memory.
