If you want to improve your rhythm, try to time the Ehekatl icon on the slots. Basketball will seem incredibly easy after the autistically tight timing there.

Whoever reminded me that you can reroll the quest board with influence is my hero. I'm just been squatting in fromnt of one in aqua teotl and getting a combo of hunt x monsters and clear location of monster(and the occasional racism yes) quests and I haven't really gotten a lot of dead rolls.

There are ways to move it, but frankly it won't do you any good and you'll see plenty more of those shrines.

Yeah, I chugged a dozen wells and had to amass about 15 cure mutation potions to undo the damage. Check every vending machine. There's two in Aquli Teola and one or two in most other twos. Healers carry them rarely. I refreshed them like mad with Influence, otherwise just dive around in dungeons and hope you get lucky with random potions laying around.

I wouldn't do that unless you have 300 million orens to get the blacksmith to lv100 and at least 500 luck

Hermit crabs are easy low level skill XP, you can just stand there and autofight for a half hour.
My Tactics & Strategy both skyrocketed, and all of my weapon skills got to around 10 before the crab started getting obliterated by even my bare handed attacks. Evasion, Armor and Regeneration went up a lot as well over time.

Honestly, there really aren't enough consequences in this game. So far for me there hasn't really been anything where losing progress from dying actually felt like it mattered. Money can just be kept at home. Permadeath is way too much though, it would be immensely tedious to rebuild with that on.

I wish the game was more balanced around it. I like permadeath, as it means I learn to play more carefully. It makes optional challenges into definite obstacles that must be overcome or deftly avoided in order to continue playing as that character and progressing in the game.
I think reducing the ambush rate and giving certain starter classes important skills (like giving Thieves the Tactics skill) would help with that.

It's very freeform, all of the above, really. You've got roguelike randomized and static dungeons, a fantasy overworld with towns to see and travel between, a charming translation, a very autistic story that you barely play a part in. Loads of different skills for both combat and non-combat, farming mechanics, loads of furniture.

Taxes become trivial once you can clear starter dungeons and quests. If you use the quest points for furniture tickets, you'll start getting a monthly salary to cover taxes even further. Also, you can fast-travel between cities with travel rations.

I don't know if this is intended but you can talk to the older younger sister in mysilia over and over again, she'll damage you without killing you and that trains your armor and shield. It also gives your carpel tunnel if you do it too much

You also wanna disallow food in other containers or put them on low priority.

Crafting makes no money at all. I have the tax evasion skill, it reduces taxes by a whopping 2.2% and each additional level (which costs more gold bars) reduces it by an even smaller amount.

Stats and skill levels increase the multiplier and hit chance. If you've got two skills that govern it (like dual wielding two weapons) then both will effect it.

Plus mod is made by a different guy, so you can treat it like a separate game with separate story and continents after the original Lesimas quest is done. It's worth playing through on its own, the progression is much faster that Elona/Elin.

Elin definitely feels a lot better to play over Elona, but it is missing a decent amount of content.
This isn't to say there's no content in Elin, but stuff like weapon crafting, spellbook creation, and, I think, alchemy is not implemented despite related stuff being in.
The world map also has tons of locked fixed dungeons that is suppose to be in the works.
If you aren't in a hurry to play, wait for a sale.

It takes 1 ingot to make 40 bullets at the tinker's table. I don't think you start with the recipe, I learned it through actions. If you go to a hill tile and strip it of metal, you'll get hundreds of bullets.

Any non-physical damage will do.
You might have picked up a couple of rods or something to throw at them, some equipment like copper weapons also have innate elemental damage.
It is possible to beat their defenses through sheer stats, but that will be when your physical damage 1 shots nearly every enemy around it's level.

If you can't cast magic, you have to evade them. Their attacks leech life. If they never hit you once, then you'll kill them quickly no matter what you use to fight them. If you can't evade them in combat, then just avoid fighting them entirely.

Get a lamp. There are different types with different effects/light radius. The torch is the worst.
Hold it in your hand and stand next to a furniture item. It will show you the ticket cost when you mouse over it.

Right-click it, and then click the furniture you want. Note that a given piece of furniture probably costs multiple tickets and that will be listed when you hover over it (or click the stack it's in).
Also, it only activates in the town you got it from.
