Realistically no, despite who Karlach is. And it should be said what she is. Karlach is a PC, which means at Level 1 she's stronger and more capable than an olympic athlete multiplied by ten. She is Zariel's most capable mortal operator and Zariel herself is the overlord of this slice of Hell - Avernus.
Karlach's life was already forfeit the moment she left Avernus - Zariel sent mortal agents to kill her. Returning to Avernus just makes it all the more easier to kill her. Zariel isn't going to spare her or return her to her employment because just like in the real world it's almost impossible to trust something that quits. In a sense, Karlach violated the contract of her enslavement by running and the penalty is pretty much always death.
The only realistic happy ending for Karlach in Hell is if for some reason the House of Hope in Avernus is "sacred" ground in the sense Zariel granted the place diplomatic immunity as a gift to Mephistopheles regardless whether Raphael was there or not. Because that sort of deal would require the house to be magically protected so Zariel wouldn't have to worry about some random dipshit in Avernus violating the house. Because Mephistopheles or anybody isn't going to rest their head in the house if any stupid asshole Zariel included could just walk in and kill everyone inside on a whim.
So Hope lives there now and owns the house, which obeys her, because it wouldn't make any sense to stay otherwise if Zariel or Mephistopheles could fuck her up, which they certainly would want to. And so it would only make sense this is the only place Karlach could also be safe in Avernus and should have been the implication when she went back that you, her and Wyll would've had to fight their way to the house immediately (after killing the Netherbrain).
