It's not the question of if, it's how bad is it, because if you didn't do any of above mention it's obvious that it's this . Now to what degree that would be a question. Metro Is basically stalker experience if it were catered to consoles and made by people who kinda cared. This would be closer to that rather than old stalker, I don't even think there will be much open world if at all for some reason, I suppose the heavily scripted nature of what we saw is heavily implies that. Bottom line is, it will be a disappointment no matter what.

Disagree. Tarkov is way slower. I've never played EFT but played a bunch of Stalker (predominantly unmodded). Seen plenty of EFT though.
it was always pretty tactical, held down by the fact that there's actual AI.
it's going to be hard to show off whether the AI is as good as it was before, but we can see on release. not from reviews, of course.

It's a foregone conclusion ever since the M$ deal. Being a PC exclusive on a self-developed engine was a huge part of the original trilogy's uniqueness and charm. You can kiss goodbye to all of this with S2. Moreover, being associated with M$ inherently means quotas to be filled and restrictions in terms of content. So it's only reasonable to expect a run-of-the-mill UE5 console FPS with a "modern" aftertaste.
It looks good and seems to play well so as long as they've managed to capture the atmosphere of the originals it should be great. My PC isn't able to run it though I won't be playing it until next summer or something, at which point even a mediocre game will be worth the asking price.
