i guess. never played it. the game's atmosphere is too gloomy for me.
got fond memories of 4, especially the driving, it took some actual skill.
SA and 4 are the peak of the series.
It filtered me just as much as the older games, it's just a matter of getting used to things.
you had to be there to experience it. the physics engine, ragdoll/euphoria physics, it was all groundbreaking back in 2008, and to play gta 4 after playing san andreas as a kid was an insane jump in technology.

I like how somber it is, the world and the characters, even if there's a few comedic moment, it's by far the darkest GTA game.
Nico really try to escape the past, but he can't. He's genuinely a bad person but unique other characters, he doesn't pretend he's better, even if he wish he was.

5 sucks. In every way that matters. The only thing 5 has over 4 is trivial customization option literally cosmetics. Gameplay wise 4 was just missing a few things to keep the autists busy but the core gameplay IE Driving, Combat, enemy AI was much better than 5.
