Now that the dust has settled, is Lies of Pee pee actually good?
Now that the dust has settled, is Lies of Pee pee actually good?
Yes, especially if you upgrade the P Organ.
yep, was planning a replay but i'm looking forward to the dlc first
I enjoyed quite a bit.
It's main issue is most normal enemies are way too easy.
better than bloodborne actually
Great combat and boss fights, level design is a bit too linear.
Yes, best souls game since Sekiro.
Bloodborne isn't parryslop and has a larger dodge/dashslop window than P. It's only comparable to Sekiro.
Best combat of any Souls game except Sekiro
A lot of the enemies do this bullshit
"wind up animation then instant 200ms unreactable attack"
Which I didn't enjoy as part of the difficulty though
Expedition 33 mogs this trash.
ALL ME BTW.
The only decent parrylike. It shits on Stellar Blade and WuKong faggotry.
This game was dogshit and has incredibly janky terrible animations and combat, it feels indy as fuck, floaty, disconnected.
Hitting barrels and shit they don't break, everything in the world feels glued down. Shit game.
Too linear and not enough optional bosses, combat is good but I wish they'd show you the enemy stagger bar, it's just like ER where staggers can completely shut down the boss and set up for massive damage but you have to keep a mental note of when that's going to happen
Yup, blows the absolute fuck out of Elden Ring in every conceivable way.
it's like bloodborne but actually decent
There are some bullshit enemies, like that fucking clown robot, and the selection of strength weapons is bad, but overall it's a very good game. Cool enemies / world, and smooth combat.
the only thing elden ring could've had over it was the open world, if it was so pointlessly bloated and empty, god what a shit game elden slog was
It's only one peg better because of performance. Everything about P ranks below BB unless you like story games with shallow content.
the game already has better combat and boss roster than base game bb. Yes the game is still linear as fuck but that's all
better combat
Parryslop with worse animations. The transformation weapons felt cheaper.
better boss roster
I don't get this meme aside from a few shitty ones that you can skip over. Crow of Cainhurst is still metal as fuck and shits all over literal who robot or team of rabbit sissies.
"wind up animation then instant 200ms unreactable attack"
This is what I hated about Lies of P in general. I think I heard that several bosses were nerfed so they didn't do that anymore, but the damage was done. I beat the game "on hard mode" and have no interest in playing the DLC.
I remember the final boss, Nameless Puppet, having an instant attack during Phase 2 that just teleported at you instantly and I had to beat it by using a skill that auto-perfect guards for you because that shit is completely unreactable.
move over, sirs
youtube.com
I like the story and setting. A fresh experience compared to the same old "everything is dead" fantasyland in souls games.
and except Nioh and Nioh 2, also except Dark Souls 1 and except Elden Ring and except Bloodborne and except Ai Limit and except Khazan
Lies of PeePeePooPoo hehe
You can't be seriously saying Dark Souls 1 slow and easy combat is better than Lies of P
I just wish it didn't use an already made setting with pre existing characters and make something original for once. Even Bloodborne brought something new to table despite being "everything is dead" type of deal.
Dark Souls 1 combat has soul
I played it with an STR build, the game was fine, but I wasn't impressed. I liked Bloodborne a lot more. Does DEX make the gameplay better?
I dunno man I like how you play as a human murdering puppet that lies his way to becoming human.
Pinocchio or any fairytale but grimdark is an overdone genre by Hollywood. Those Disney remakes ruined it for me too.
it's good, I wish they leans on the exploration more in the dlc since it's kinda easy to find everything on 1st playthrough if you're careful
Stellar Blade fucking obliterates this mid game. It's not even on the same ballpark. Wukong gameplay was mid so it's not hard to mog that one.
Nah, Wukong was much better IMO. Khazan is also better with combat, but too much copy paste in side missions.
Don't care. Still getting dlc.
Faggot game for faggot Reddits
muh Soulslike lovecraftian pinnochio weeb japanese hardcore gamer video game game xDDDD
This Pinocchio uses a sword and doesn't look like a puppet though, they did something different.
When is the new reveal for dlc happening or they're dropping it out of the blue?
I didn't enjoy Wukong combat at all. The only boss I liked was Tenshinhan. Also Yellowbrow but that was more spectacle than gameplay related.
they had a trailer already
I think it needs a map system, but isnt a huge issue as the levels are pretty linear
based and linkpilled, this track still slaps. now everyone out the way, real gamers coming through
Now now ai limit may be cute and funny but its combat wasn't anything to write about. The fact the devs had to pause the game if you wanted to switch spells during battle is proof of that
I really enjoyed it, though it didn't really stand out for me until I actually started using certain upgrades in Chapter 4, and after playing it a bunch it feels much better with all the upgrades which takes until NG+2 to get if you don't farm anywhere.
