My sister got really into Wicked back in the mid 2000’s when the musical was exploding in popularity, because ought the merch, the album and even the original books it was based on. While the musical was alright enough I guess I ended up reading the books years later for lack anything better to do during a particularly slow summer and my god those books are such utter dogshit.
