Game OST

listening to OSTs

incel behavior

This is my favorite videogame OST. Something about it feels magical, it resonates with me in a very unique way.

Nothing in my life would change if you died

Say what you want about Borderlands, it has some pretty fucking good atmospheric music.

i wouldn't know anon, i'm not a cuck like anthony burch

This is fantastic. Maybe I might come back to this and play with the voices muted/ no subtitles.

Play it with the Japanese dub instead, anon. It's much easier to drown out the shitty dialogue when you can't understand it.

out of BL2 OSTs for me top is digistruct peak and creature slaughter, but still good choice

what do you mean? i assume you can't be talking about youtu.be

that oasis song was nice, any 31337 guy know where i can download mp3 or flac of simcity 4 ost? i'd prefer not to rip it from youtube

I would have loved to see the level this track was made for. It sounds like it was made for one of the Gnasty Gnorc levels. I love how it uses the main theme of the game in spots. I get a huge fucking boner for leit motifs.

why does nexus mods allow this hate?

can't you just click though a let's play until you hear the music?

That track is an unused music track that's still sitting on the disc for Spyro the Dragon. There's one other as well. Neither of these songs show up in any levels, and they're clearly meant for levels that were cut at some point.

There's actually an audio bug in the game where if you stay within a level for long enough (I'm talkin' upwards of 30+ minutes) the incorrect audio track will play the next time the level music is looped. For instance, if you stay on High Caves for long enough, the song that I just linked replaces the actual level theme. Very odd but interesting bug. Would love to know how and why this happens.

i see.
i think a lot of game music artist just make a bunch of songs for the game without looking at a specific level that it is for. maybe they are given hints like "hot lava level" or "windy level" but many don't make tracks to specifically fit a specific level (just a theme)

Nah, there's a documentary where Stewart Copeland talks about composing the music for Spyro the Dragon. He specifically says that he likes to play the levels before he composes the music so he can get a feel of the atmosphere the level is trying to portray.

literally had to struggle to learn how to beat the game so he could properly do his job

holy fucking based

All PvP competitive games can go fuck themselves. Most of them are dead silent, and if they’re not, they’re playing some gay ass ambient background noise that puts you to sleep. On the other hand, Unreal Tournament 99 is jam-packed with adrenaline pumping, action inducing epic soundtrack that keeps your blood surging. There hasn’t been a game like it since.

i still think 2004 improved on 99 in every way

theres a mod for 3 that auto skips all dialogue and scenes, not sure if tiny tina has it.

There's a dialogue skipper for BL2 as well.

bunny tracks are still the best in 99 and there isn't a game that do it better

2004 had way shittier maps on the whole

there's no tracking information in the url itself and the redirect shouldn't give more info compared to opening the longer url. i think you're misinformed.

99 SOUL > 04 SOULESS

Sans Undertale theme

kek they fucking got me

Imma be honest with you, I dont know how it works. But I do know that websites can keep track of which other website has brought people to a page. This isnt just a google thing.

If memory serves me right, the youtu.be links are only temporary. So when it gets posted google has the info of which pc that url was first generated. This + the previous point allows google to track you.

If I'm correct it's this thing attached to the end of a link that works as the tracker.

file.png - 441x73, 5.46K

youtu.be isn't temporary and it uses the same letter combination as the long youtube.com format. they can't track any better if you use any of them. as points out they added the si parameter to the querystring for tracking purposes.

you're thinking of url shorteners in general. if someone wants to link to a webshop for example they instead link to a different site which logs your visit and then redirects to the webshop. since alphabet (google) owns both youtube.com and youtu.be they can just do that on both (they both have the same tracking power)

You turned me on to a pretty neat soundtrack

The second song kinda reminds me of the Foamstars soundtrack. Shit game but it has some pretty cool music by MONACA (even if it's nothing like their other soundtracks at all)
