Number of problems with the game. Apparently translation team quit halfway due to Humble Games imploding and English script got fucked over. Not that the script was great to begin with the frozen in time twist was incredibly easy to pick up, as well as who was the cat and the burglar.. Apparently they also ran out of money so Act 3 is so bad. Apparently there's a ton of cut content like the pharmacy having an inside and pharmacist having a model. That being said - some of the 2D people were meant to have models and some of them were meant to have a bigger role but alas. No money.

Here's my greatest critique though - the investigation part of the game SUCKS. It is really bad and it's very trial and error based. There aren't any clues or nuances to pick up, you're just shoved into the puzzle and then you have to figure it out yourself. Shenmue part of the game is okay, but some of the minigames were ultra broken.

Anything annoying thing is banking on the yurishit. The game reaaaaallly wants you to do lesbian relationships or have Paun as your love interest (Who is boring as fuck). The other two guys are accessible so long into the game they just don't matter.

And the style... I hate Diana's design the most. Some of the guys look cute but still nowhere near something I would be interested in (Snoot is too small). Another problem is tiny feet, they just look ugly. Either swallow the digitigrade pill or do full plantigrade. In between looks meh.

I kinda had hopes with this game and they were shattered. It's clear that they were aiming more for a Switch release because boy howdy - PC release was fucking borked from day one. And despite all of that? Still it's better than Mars Vice. That game is plain garbage.

We love goats and chill games about exploring scenic towns, at least we like to say we do.

Basically it looked like it had some production value and hailed itself as a 'detective game'. In reality it's a VN with a 3D environment made with German culture fund money. In reality it's a railroaded 4 hour experience with a badly written plot.

I dodged that bullet by a negative review left on steam. Honestly out of all the furry games that I bought so far only Critter Cove and Locomotive lives up to my expectations. Truth be told the former even has my SCUBA fetish on full display.

I've played the demo of Mars Vice and already there were warning flags everywhere. Honestly I want the guys to do another comfy Italian game but learning from their mistakes. The town design is what I love about the game and made me feel like I was going through Sapienza in Hitman again.
Just better art design (give them actual feet and longer snoots), less stupid minigames and better writing.
