Boring cooking clicker reskin. The best part of this game was the community and now it's dead thanks to GE and Discord faggotry. Plus the game is solved and a wiki game. Some things in game link you directly to a fucking wiki. Everyone just does the optimal meta shit so most of the map is completely useless.
Peaked with ToB, so in 2017 or 2018 I can't remember.
I wonder how long will this game go on for, since no new players are joining.Imagine in 10 years your playerbase is 40 years old on average.
Kinda pointless in the modern Era, but maybe (probably not) worth playing through all the quests up until the snapshot was made.
Basically all the new content is shit and I say this with 100% full sincerity and no japes.
The near entirety of the player base is like, 40 trannies with literally hundreds of alts glazing themselves and youtubers with their own alts. So their ads look like there's still people playing, and nobody says a slur.
pretty much going form area to area involves just walking for like 5 minutes
IM 1120 KC DRY AT CG OF AN ENH AND I WANT TO FUCKING
DIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE
I will ensure my children grow up playing this game and help raise the next generation of OSRS players
Good game
Ironman btw
I simply cannot understand the appeal of playing single player RS. Even with access to the GE and trading the game still feels like a chore
I mean he just demonstrated it
mfw doing the monkey madness quest
whoever made this shit deserves to be thrown from the roof top
Only the stealth section is bad. Everything else is Runescape adventure kino
It's literally the best quest in the entire game kill yourself.
bit mean
I can't even clear 1 room of gauntlet it's kicking my ass
I want to play it again but
don't want to pay for members
can't farm gold for bonds now that they're so expensive
Oh well
Multiplayer aspects don't improve RS at all though
Ironmemes can still chat and play minigames and do partner quests
They just can't do boring shitty arbitrary paper stocks that let you get out of playing the actual game and still level/finish quests
God you're retarded
Actual human garbage
play Anon Babblescape
mute global on first login
Plays runescape private servers
Calls anyone else garbage
it was fun but you get over it was a boredom game where i play when im bored
Kill yourself, retarded faggot human garbage
Show boss log
Explain
bots
lazy answer, how did the amount of bots grow? Wasn't it 99% bots in 2018 aswell?
yes
More interesting to watch people do weird challenge series than actually play it yourself
I got my quest cape then immediately quit
its shit, clunky as fuck and the quests are convoluted garbage
truth hydro bomb
It was good for a while, but unfortunately it succumbed to its inevitable fate. As an MMO it was always decline to bloat and power creep, and being developed by britcucks it was always going to be censored and tainted with trannies.
found the dev
Different way to play the game
Instead of just going to buy a rune axe you have to figure out what drops one and level up for it. You actually have to earn the items instead of just swipe for them.
Group Ironman has been fun leaching off my friends.
Will never be the same as it was back in the day. It's a fucking tragedy that they killed skilling with loot pinata bosses. I guess it was an attempt to offset the low level skilling bots/thirdie gold farmers, but they've both become so advanced even at ultra-high level pvm that it doesn't even matter anymore.
The last time I played Runescape was 2003 and all I really did was stand at fishing locations and catch swordfish. Then I would practice cooking and attempt to sell my rare black swordfish to people arriving on the island I spent all my sessions on.
kill any boss
drops 20k coal, 4k gold bars, 10 pairs of d legs, 2k bloods, 4k deaths, 1k sharks, 5k prayer pots, and 20k elemental runes
all noted
"why is everything worth less than the high alch value?"
Jaggy being allergic to just dropping gold coins blows my fucking mind. Theres no reason for some of these drops, it just nukes the price of everything so there's reason to do any of the gathering or crafting skills. Grind for pennies or do this piss easy boss 4 times. Wtf.
I got to live to see swordfish go from 750g each
To 145 gold each. Thanks temper Ross. You used to make a decent income from fishing, now its almost as bad as wc.
I started playing a few years ago and the second I learned you could swipe for BIS gear the entire experience immediately felt as if it lost all integrity and purpose to it. Suddenly it felt like every other modern cash shop pay to win mmo trash. Quit for a week and then started an Ironman. 2050 total now. Best game ever made, but only if you play an ironman
Play ironman.
Honestly, they should just force everyone into Ironman at this point but normal accounts swipe too much.
Saw i guy in full virturs with 0 KC on any boss. Its wild.
luv questin'
luv chattin'
luv minigames
'ate grindin'
'ate bossin'
'ate minmaxin'
simple as
RS3 devs already figured out that spamming noted gather skill materials as drops on bosses was a bad fucking idea decades ago, it's funny seeing the OSRS devs fall into the same exact trap.
Only reason I'm not ironman is because I want to pay for bonds with gold.
I felt the same way but I didn't want to start an iron cause a lot of the supplies are better off mass buying, so I kinda just started giving myself light restrictions, like if I want to use a weapon or a drop, I need to at least be able to farm the boss, and buy if I got extremely dry and it becomes unfun.
Stuff like that, it makes the game enjoyable and I force myself into content I might otherwise just buy out because the game shits money for mid-game equipment at least.
muh ge
eat shit retard ge is better and always was because otherwise you would just get trading bots instead.
double retard
It was fun enough in its heyday... twenty fucking years ago.
All these hard as fuck bosses (for me) made me quit the game. I will never have the time to spend to learn all these bosses that are made for people who play 12 hours a day. I will never have time to fight a boss 1500 times so that I can get enough money for an item that is 3rd bis
Seeth more Ironpleb
You can actually buy bonds from the GE as an iron now
I really wish we'd get more MMOs that look at Runescape's gameplay model and try using parts of that.
Non-linear world design
Storyline quests
Skill based character progression instead of class based
Horizontal updates
It baffles me that no major MMO has even tried
new world tried, maybe not the horizontal update part though. They made it too grindy and high intensity though. runescape's grind is only acceptable because you can do it on autopilot
Was good until they increased to membership price
I maxed and started doing pet hunts, then quit after going x2 dry. Not worth the time unless they add thresholds like rs3. I still play leagues though, that's fun, but looks like they're skipping this year.
Sister?
This guy killed 0 bosses.
Nice set tho.
Troonscape these days. Not worth your time.
Yeah, it's a fine line to balance the grind for any MMO. RS also throws in random bonuses through most of its grinds to help.
What fucking quality that I said does GW fall in? I played it a while ago, but it didn't strike me as having any of those features.
You are assuming people actually want to skill and chat or zone out.
They are assuming people want to do their new combat content, and flooding the market with materials reduces prices so they can focus on the combat instead.
It should not surprise anyone that these devs are hopelessly out of touch, seeing the way they have run the game for years.
The GE's fine. It sure as fuck beats standing in Varrock square spamming your trade offer over and over again hoping your offer gets noticed among the sea of other trade offers. It's pretty much just an auction house which is pretty standard in MMOs.
Players having GE data to make informed decisions is good, but its use as an item sink and gp source is harmful.
One Small Favour was worse but it had more comedy
when PK Went it turned to shit
should have been RS the milisecond before EoC came out
07 is overrated
Le GE bad
It's 100x better than the alternative. It always led to people essentially running a GE alternative on an offshoot site
B-but community interactions
Ah yes, spam, scams, and lacking the ability to read the chat due to flooding text.
Optimizers ruined runescape as a whole
Youtubers personally ruined it for me so I can watch some dude grind hundreds of hours in 10 minutes with a cookie cutter ironman.
Definitely horizontal updates and technically prophecy quests can be completed in any order but the story is pretty weak so whatever. Also while there are classes, you progress by learning new abilities, not levelling per se.
th-they're out of touch
game is bigger than ever
???
I don’t know how people don’t see the funny side of this quest, walking all around the world on a never ending goose chase only to be told by several people that you took too long or they go back on their deals with your character getting angrier and angrier each time is funny
It kind of is nowdays, with a ton of QoL tweaks, and content thats either direct ports of 08-12 content, or remixed versions of it
i have a friend who told me he was nerd logged from runescape 3 times in one day. that's when the game forcefully logs you off after 6 continuous hours of play. what the hell is wrong with osrs players
Those statements do not contradict each other.
wont get nerdlogged if you just world hop NIGGA
Wait until you do the sequel quest
I hate that platform bit with the bombs
If you're stupid, sure
only good mmo
Several of my friends are hopefully addicted to it. I tried to get into it but when they upped the membership price to like $15/mo I realized I was paying Game Pass prices for a shitty deliberate time waster made in 2003.
I seriously have no idea how mfers like “skilling” in this game. The grind is obscene. I know there are different strokes for different folks or w/e but OSRS is literally designed to make you take hours and hours to get anything done in it.
One of my friends has a maxed iron man account (like quest cape, 99 all skills) and he’s one of the most successful people I know. Good job, big house, just got married. Makes zero sense to me. Guess I just don’t *get it*.
Hot takes:
Sailing looks stupid.
Having the option to start an acct in one of the new zones (effectively making the OSRS 2.0) is desperately needed.
Just haul your ass to the new zone? Only elflands are gated.
i think osrs is in a good place right now but have absolutely no faith in the near future due to the private equity firm that owns them meddling.
Thing is the game isn’t designed around you doing that, AFAIK. And it’s hard to tell which zones are new as a new player.
Like if Varlamore had intro level quests and you could start the game there, that could be cool.
A lot of RuneScape is good, don’t get me wrong. I like the aesthetic and I think prayer switching is neat. Having an isometric MMO to play in 2025 is neat. The idea of skilling via group bosses is fun. But at the end of the day I don’t want to go through the slog. Feel free to lynch me for saying this but a casualized OSRS built from the ground up with their more modern design philosophies would be more in line what I’m after.
And another complaint: everyone plays on mobile now, so nobody chats.
getting annoyed at monkey madness 1
brother thats like 3/10 on the annoying scale get ready for some ass fucking days long quests if youre going for quest cape
Like if Varlamore had intro level quests
It does, stop talking
OSRS has no future. I can't imagine anyone born after 07 to find any of it interesting.
Is it worth starting OS? I just comped on RS3, and I occasionally get the itch for the old graphics, gameplay, and music. The only thing really stopping me is the idea of starting over after playing on one account for 20 years.
and you could start the game there
oldschool.runescape.wiki
Walk to Varrock and do one fucking quest. Also a "new player" is not going to know there are other zones, why would they give a shit that they started in Lumbridge instead of Varlamore?
I used to be a C list celebrity and PMod back in the day. I played RS3 for quite a while until I realized it was just a corpse being paraded around that you had to pay to see. One of my friends still plays OS religiously and always tries to get me to play it with him. He'll stream it for me from time to time and it's the most soulless shit I've ever seen.
tick manipulation bullshit to minmax 3 skills at once
ironmeme so you don't ever have to interact with anyone
3rd party overlays to keep track of every possible stat you could think of and guides to hold your hand through every quest/clue scroll/farming method
every new update has that fucking smooth sterile look that I hated since the OG Falador update
game barely resembles anything from the OG it might as well be Old School in name only
constantly making new characters to do whatever fag challenge some shitlord streamer is doing, gets bored and then goes back to chipping away at his ironmeme
I wish people just played games to fuck around and have fun. The amount of time I spent just talking with people and making RSMV's back in the day was more than I ever spent grinding and those were all the memories that stuck with me. Now nobody talks to anybody and it's nothing but grind for dumb bullshit that gets powercrept in the very next update. Fuck RuneScape
The memes are still good though
don't forget
Player: Here's the red mahogany you asked for.
Yanni Salika: Well, that's absolutely wonderful my friend! Many thanks!
Player:
Yanni Salika:
Player: Wait, that's it?
Yanni Salika: Well...what were you expecting? I mean, it took you so long I could have gone and got it myself!
Only Zeah is kinda appropriate for being a starter zone, and you're getting a free hike there for doing one quest available either immediately or very soon after gettin off the tutorial island. The rest are meme-account tier starts. The world is built to be interconnected.
Check it out I guess? How should we know?
why would they give a shit that they started in Lumbridge instead of Varlamore?
all of the content in and around Lumbridge is old and boring. The point of an alternate start in an MMO should be to get new players up to speed with modern content more quickly
The game is 'oldschool' in name only, it has pretty much became RS3 with retro graphics now. Especially with how everyone uses that cheat client runelite and bullied jagex into making it legal to use.
There is absolutely nothing stopping you exploring 90% of Gillenor out the gate.
The point of an alternate start in an MMO should be to get new players up to speed with modern content more quickly
kill yourself
I'd suggest playing dmm or even better, leagues. They're temporary gamemodes that have boosted xp rates, drop rates and ways of making your character stronger than normal. main difference is that dmm is PvP focused. Dmm will be this autumn/winter, leagues will be next year however.
Basically it'll let you experience 200h of osrs in like 30-35h so it's a good way to try out the game
Exploring isn’t the point. The point is that new players should start in newer zones with newer quests that give disproportionately better XP rewards for completing them. Then those players should be appropriately onboarded into participating in content the rest of the playerbase is doing e.g. raids and higher level skilling activities. So they don’t have to go through 50 hours of preptime where they mindlessly follow the quest guide just to begin to have fun with everyone else.
Pretty much every MMO runs into this problem at some point and it’s part of the reason why the genre isn’t as popular anymore.
Enjoy clicking on trees for 4000 hours bro
Exploring isn’t the point.
No point reading the rest of your post, sorry.
You should be able to do this
Just buy the account if your goal is only to raid
mfw Jagex just fired the bulk of their lead devs for RS3 to cut costs
So RS3 is dead then, I guess. How long until it dies and Jagex tries to foist all the MTX shit on OS?
I hate this shit conceptually, this is far too autistic to expect players to do, shit like Zuk where you have to kill jad while dodging OKHO after 60 waves, fuck off
Just fire up openrsc and play it on a local server or something.
damn, really? wild how they killed that game
"forget the journey, bro!"
"Just skip to the end and learn how to cheese a boss that was designed around the top .1% of players"
They fired the entire design team that made all the major content in the last 5 years. This was guys who were with Jagex since 2008. Shit is fucked, I suspect.
major content in the last 5 years
and nothing of value was lost
They killed they game years ago. Quests came to a screeching halt after Zamorak boss and new skill is bad
Maybe when they implement player servers so they don't loose too many subscribers
Archeology was rad, but the rest can fuck off.
But they certainly have enough money to host another fag event this month
experience the journey
it's 300+ hours of walking back and forth between quest objectives at a snail's pace
spelling mistake
They really have given up and think they can survive off just MXT promotions don't they? Remember back in the old days when making fun quests was their top priority and we'd get a new quest each month? Now all we ever get is like 1-2 quests each year and they always half ass them because they'd rather work on stupid shit like pride month parades or mxt promos.
It's only the tip of the iceberg
youtube.com
you can try it for fee
i'm botting runecrafting, currently 96
The worst part is what new quests we do have are just "I'm the center of the universe" bullshit. Remember when we got goofy fun stuff with British humor? Remember when the player's alignment was Chaotic Retard and got duped by everyone?
They also fucked up by having the gods go back but still keeping the stories serialized. it's like a half and half approach and it reeks of compromise
Yeah, GE ruined
Standing around varrock in a sea of 2000 players
Trading bots
Scammers
Scammer bots
Retard idiots trying to haggle after calling out a price
Using random forums to find buyers/sellers
Oh its just so slop to have ge and it was KINO to spam chat! And those other points too are so true because you obviously played the game and weren't a complete noob.
They have way more quest, but you ignore them. You're not their target audience
Not him, but while the GE is definitely convenient, it's the #1 thing that killed player interaction. I can't speak for OS, but RS3 is absolutely dead and is basically just a single player game.
guildie got banned for botting zilyana
runescape is the greatest point and click game of all time, honestly nothing comes close
It's a good MMO if you're only interested in autistically grinding skills and gear upgrades.
Nobody really wastes time chatting or hanging out anymore. Your best bet is to join a friends chat.
If you want to PvP, I have bad news for you.
Learning all the little things and mechanics is almost impossible on your own.
LMS is just filled with bots, so you will never really learn anything there. PKing can still be fun, but you will most likely run into another PKer who will mop the floor with you. You will lose more than you gain.
Also, too many clans sell services, whether they be raiding, wilderness camping, or etc.
Too much RWTing and too many bots.
Updates and aesthetics in new updates don't feel old school. The general player base just wants more EasyScape and convenience updates.
Ironman mode is a cancer that should have never been made. Literally the single biggest blow to what makes an MMO an MMO.
This is unironically the shit that ruins the game.
I dont want to spend 2 hours just to try a boss. Nor do I want to so group raids in fucking runescape of all games.
I wish they'd add something like barrows, but maybe have the bosses be on par with vorkath in difficulty. Easy enough to farm, but cant fall asleep.
Nobody really wastes time chatting or hanging out anymore.
this is literally every single MMO in 2025, at least runescape is better than those since it's good as a single player game
Your character isn't really in the spotlight anymore, now that you aren't the World Janny anymore the quests now have been about cringy 'girlboss' shit like that god awful Fort questline and the shit with the Moia and how she somehow managed to overpower and kill Bilrach who is supposed to be stronger than her being a full blooded Mahjarrat. Also the latest desert quest also was doing the girlboss shit as well having you overthrow Osman to have his daughter take over.
I cant speak for rs3 because I havent played it since 2007 when they updated the character graphics and made everyone lool retarded.
OSRS is just much better with GE. There's still constantly someone shitposting at ge if you want to talk with ppl while doing bankstand skills.
And ofc all minigames are full of people just chatting to make the grind less miserable.
...and most of the time slayercave tasks have ppl chatting
I wish they'd add something like barrows, but maybe have the bosses be on par with vorkath in difficulty
In fairness to them, the perilous moons is basically Barrows 2.0, that content is actually pretty good
I planned on doing that in the leagues, but never go around to it.
Is it good? How are the rewards?
What are you doing that no one is chatting? 2 tick fish? Nobody is wasting time, true, but if you aren't actively clicking there will be chatter - stars, trees, minigames or just bankstanding
Yeah its basically just barrows but each of the three bosses has two unique special attacks and the dungeon gives you free food/pots you can hunt/herb for so you could stay in there for multiple runs without running back to the bank.
Armor is also pretty good. Attacks aren't super autistic to dodge either, its unironically good content.
comfy.
people get caught up in focusing on a single long grind and burn out.
or playing super efficient
God damn, now Im excited to start in that region during the next league. Whenever that may be.
Isn't one of the most recent quests a joke about how the British museum steals art from other countries?
Isn't another a joke quest where you get roped into being someone's butler only to fall into a silly Scooby-Doo esque whodunnit
He's talking about RS3
The gear is slightly above barrows, but it kinda requires tank top/legs. General loot is decent for midgame irons. It's a learning content so depending on your skill it may be nice or boring mechanically.
Poe is the perfect example to look at when you want to think about an mmo without centralised trading and holy fuck it sucks and people hate it. It also doesn't have player interaction and is mainly ran by bots
people RWT for items which is retarded but also has been done in every MMO ever but it's bad in runescape because....? It just is ok!!!!!! They HAD to make a gamemode to play a single player game in a MMO (the second "M" stands for multiplayer fyi)
You're just autistic. Ironmemes should be banished to their own server so content isn't designed around them. They don't even like playing ironman, they juat want the retarded helmet symbol nwxt to their name for ass pats. Bosses should be designed around the GWD/Nex philosophy that requires 3-5 people and splitting drops, with enemies that are huge supply losses until you hit the uniques for each boss. 2007 GWD was perfect, 2011 Nex was perfect. OSRS Nex drop rates are fucking gay and lame and made even more gay by gimping torva and not including pernix/virtus
Fair, never played that shit lmao
2004scape is just better
Gwd is terrible
Nex is terrible
Almost everyone I know, main or iron, fucking hates them too
The only people who seem to like fed are the people who just want to chat and not feel like they're bankstanding, which honestly fair enough but like that doesn't make the content good. It's no different from mining stars in osrs or fishing in maple story 2
Godwars was a mistake
Why is the Anon Babble general so weird?
why is containment board so weird
Because the osrs generals there are filled with people with genuine mental illnesses and literal trannies. RS3 generals have pretty much died and is a zombie thread on Anon Babble.
NPCs (probably WoW players)
>Standing around varrock in a sea of 2000 players
A magical experience.
How does it work? I know in poe these are no coins and instead there are like 10 tiers of items that convert into each other (similar to how bronze converts to silver in mainstream mmos)
Because mods will literally not ban samefagging, off topic posting troons until they have a mental breakdown and download a bot script that spams the thread with garbage for 3 days. Yes that actually happened
jagex killed pvp dead bot game
ironmen are also terrible
fun to hop on and make 200m and quit for a bond
just got 40m str xp
But why can't you plant flowers in that one tile?
Unironically, filtered. Doing group anything but arma is how the game should have been been updated after they put back gwd in osrs in 2013
It's still fun, they didn't outright ruin anything besides adding the GE. Most of the new content is pretty good. I really don't like that getting to the "end game" requires you to genuinely ruin your life because you have to play for at least 5,000 hours.
GE killed the game. Old School was strangled in the cradle by adding back GE.
There was a third party site (got bought up or taken over or copied, whatever) and you could either use premium tabs (that you had to buy with real money) or something sketchy fucking program to list items and it would get listed on the site where people could search for it and there was a button on the site to copy a chat message which you pasted in game to pm the person (hope they're online, you can know this if they again, have a premium tabs or have the sketchy program open even after listing the item days ago). They'll then respond (scripts are used by a lot of people to make this easier), you both travel to their house which interrupts the game for both (meaning for small trades people literally won't even bother responding because it's not worth their time even if they listed it). Then you trade the item, hope you don't get scammed and leave again.
People REALLY like bots because they respond immediately, trade immediately and put up the items immediately. It is significantly faster to trade them than to trade players so they are usually just buying and selling the same item with a margin and people just deal with it because it's worth it to save time
It's absolutely dogshit
At least this guy is humble and doesn't spam social media like niggermonkey. But still, people like this actively ruin future content because jagex caters to the 20 people who play this autistically instead of designing content that literally everyone else will enjoy. Yama was good content because you did need good gesr but it wasn't mechanically autistic to the point fo beung unfun, and then jagex went and ruined it by adding contracts
Yeah they hit peak playercounts with each league because people just love botting leagues
I want more easyscape desu, like the playerbase is 85% people with a 9-5 job and 15% people that play this shit 17 hours per day
I'll actually defend awakened bosses and contracts because they only unlock cosmetic stuff or make it easier to get a drop that was already on the table to begin with.
It's not like the inferno cape or that quiver where you unlock vital content by going through hell
i just got torags helmet !!
you're just the opposite side of the plague, to turbo-autists, who both killed the game.
The pace of an MMO dictated by its primary playerbase is absolutely retarded.
Runescape 2 proper didn't start catering to kids having to go to school 5 days a week.
Wanting it to be easier and shorter also means you have nothing to do much faster when you hit the end-game drought.
True but there is some nuance to this because they also locked actual in game benefits behind GM combat achievements which require both of those things. There's also an argument to be had of why even adding in content like that in the first place that literally less than .01% of the player base engages with. Challenges for the top 15-5% are healthy for a game but jagex typically goes over board and gets extremely out of touch and not very well trsted pvm in the game because of this, and people will defend it because they only want to watch their favorite streamer play the game
Why not? Most of those contracts are just CAs with higher boss HP/damage. They didn't invent new mechanics, much less phases unlike something like WoW does with Mythic. It didn't seem like they even tested it. It probably took them one day to brainstorm the ideas and one day to implement the armor recolor.
I get most of this, but what fucking item has been "powercrept in the very next update"? If anything the devs are too hesitant to release things that power creep something, it's almost always horizontal items being released with the only example I can think of inbl recent times being the rancour topping the torture, which had been out for years and was itself more of a sidegrade to the fury due to its lack of prayer and defensive stats
I don't like the new bosses because they're all made with runelite and ticking manipulation bullshit in mind and I refuse to use that cheat client or learn that ticking crap.
because they're all made with runelite and ticking manipulation bullshit in mind
Spoken like someone who hasn't even attempted to learn them, because if you had, you would know that your statement is not true.
One of the best players in the game played/plays with vanilla client
You are holding yourself back, anon. Stop limiting what you think you can do
The 2nd raid cleared out the next day when they cracked literal cheat clients a few years ago, I actually had trouble finding a team quickly for a couple weeks because of it, that was my wake up call that anyone defending retardedly hard streamer content is just using plugins to cheat it anyway. You can ignore the two other fags replying to you because no streamer doesn't have their client shitted up with a vomit of rainbow tile markers and radius markers for bosses and enemies nowadays. Maybe 10 people would have done awakened vardorvis without true tile enabled for the axes and a tick counter next to the minimap along with highlighted projectiles from the heads (which admited from a visual design, was done horribly on jagex's part)
They're planning on making the thrall duration reward a master CA reward
Really? I thought you had to be level 80 to do anything in an expansion except for new classes they add.
I wish they'd release a version of RS3 without the fortune key XP gain stuff.
They literally just >temporarily shelved player servers after announcing it earlier this year. Apparently due to draconian UK data collection logs they have to work around
Where did they post this?
Why the fuck are they making an old April fool's joke into an actual skill?
RS3 players actually put their foot down for once a few years ago when Jagex tried to implement that turbo predatory battlepass system
That retarded ass new membership tiers survey was totally rejected
Membership prices have been raised massively with zero added benefits to the users
Jagex is just being tossed back and forth between PE firms like a cheap whore
Now theyre gutting the RS3 team
The cow has finally run dry RS3 has probably a year and a half left and then within 6 months of it shutting down MTX will be added to OSRS
I don't understand why the playerbase wants to keep turning it into a linear PvE treadmill rather than just playing one of the other million MMOs out there that already do that. Does there really need to be so many midgame bosses that 'teach' you to click off of glowing/shadowy floor tiles and pray against different coloured projectiles? I did one kill of Hueycoatl on leagues and holy fuck, it feels like a literal tutorial. Not even a pseudo-tutorial, but the kind of thing that you do within 10 minutes of starting a game for the first time.
