Switch 2 is going to be BETTER than the switch 1. already the line up is way much stronger than the switch 1 launch. Switch 2 may not sell the better but it will definitely have better exclusives now that Nintendo is done remaking/remastering WiiU games.

That's the interesting thing. Nintendo has had a long and unfortunate history this generation of releasing immediately forgotten games. Even massive titles don't grip the zeitgeist like BotW and even Odyssey and Smash and Animal Crossing did. This thing is gonna come out, and there's gonna be a single game and then dead air and limp third party offerings.

Which lead to the 3DS - which didn't have a very good start. At that point the dual-screen gimmick was no longer interesting enough to sell the hardware on its own and they needed software to push the sales.
The Switch 2 is gonna sell really well. But it will not match the sales of the original Switch.
Maybe it will sell 80-100 million lifetime units.
After that Nintendo will have to decide if a Switch 3 is even worth it or if some other new gimmick is needed to make their hardware interesting again.

Colombia, people mostly buy everything from gray market so depending on the official prices the gray market will sell cheaper accordingly, there were plenty of unofficial stores that were going to sell Switch 2 for pretty much official USA price but after the official price was revealed all of them increased the price accordingly but that means I could also get super fucked and see a price increase of 2x like what happened at the peak of PS5, we don't have stock problems over here.

Also: Do not expect the Switch 2 to get emulated or hacked anytime soon. The OG Switch only got those after a year because the hardware was already known and documented for quite some time. That and Nintendo assassinated/paid off all the big emulation devs who know Nintendo hardware to not do shit. This might take way longer.
