the "current mission" tab is useless as it's never updated. you have to keep listening to dialog to know what the fuck are you supposed to do
you need to touch targets to know if they are friendly or not 90% of the game

It was my first AC and I thought it was fine? Missions were varied and I had to use a few braincells sometimes when asked to bomb shit instead of just stocking air to air missiles. If anything the tunnel sequence at the end really pissed me off.

yeah I found it very difficult to navigate the tunnels with a hotas and in first person
it felt like there's random gust of winds inside and it would move you enough to crash
at least there was a checkpoint right before so I could grind it

AC isn't a flight sim, never use anything other than a console controller.
I've done it twice, once on xbox while it was on game pass and again on steam.
If you want power use the MiG with the MG pods and if you want speed just take the Strike Wyvern. The last mission is going to suck either way, those drones are a bitch to hit. Windy missions like the sandstorm and that one with the lightning will also knock you off course much more noticeably when using guns only.
