CH has fallen on very hard times. Platform holders not letting them make games of their specialty is one thing, but it was also their own doing as well. Nep was grinded into spinoff dust, and they're getting mogged by other otaku devs like Nitro Plus (Dolls Nest) selling much higher quality games at far cheaper prices (that game is $20, they want a full $60 for this Scar-Lead game).

The Remake system was more just a way to gate content behind a specific, limited resource than what it's advertised as. Even more annoying that in Re;Birth 3, the EXE drives and 4th combo slots are gated behind a Plan that is only gotten from character challenges, meaning you have to grind the specific character in those specific challenges. It really discourages trying out different party members.

There is no properly uncensored version, as by the time they got around to releasing it again, the only place it could have been truly uncensored was on PC, but I guess they didn't care at that point and just made it the same as the PS5 version. The Switch version would have likely been the same, but Nintendo evidently demanded the removal of the voices from the minigame at the last minute and their poor communication about what actually happened led to all these misconceptions about the Switch version. They should have just come out and said Nintendo censored it even further, and we could have known about this a whole year before.

When they started doing new games in-house, it had been many years and they wanted new assets, so making a new game would take a lot of resources - aside from the new battle system Sister vs Sister and Game Maker are basically mainline titles, but you can see how lacking in content they are compared to V-II (or even the previous games).

They can't even really bring themselves to criticize gacha any more. They made a mobile phone/game goddess in SvS and made her unambiguously a heroine, in complete contrast to how they portrayed Bamo and Regu in Re;Birth 3.
