What game has the worst artstyle?
What game has the worst artstyle?
Slay the Spire
twewy
inb4 Nidhogg 2
Isn't that from a movie?
Battleborn
tossup between marathon and concord at this point.
Borderlands.
Marathon at least has somewhat attractive girls in it.
the recent monkey island looks dogshit

Final Fantasy VII
anything made by rollslopware
Great answer.
This looks like "Illumination Presents: Hitman Agent 47"
Seriously. what were they thinking?
Assassin's Creed Unity.
Great engine but they decided to shit all over it with the harshest fucking blue-and-muddy filter I've ever seen.
fpbp
Romancing SaGa Minstrel song
The living embodiment of puke in 3d model form.
Hotline Miami looks super gross
Why did you post an image from a movie instead of from a game?
Cruelty Squad
Final Fantasy
is this bait
I don't recall any blue filter in that game. Was it like that in the original release before patching? As it stands now it's the most beautiful AC game ever.
Fell Seal. Man this game is kinda ugly in a way that screams faggot game to you, but it's an alright FFT clone.
No, it looks like shit.
What? I think it is perfectly fine for what it tries to be.
Psychonauts or that Dreamcast game, Evil Twin. Absolutely disgusting artstyle
Hades
so did concord.
they covered up the face of one of them and put retarded skin coloring on the other.
we speculated at the time it was on purpose to uglify them so they wouldnt overshadow Bazz.
Never understood the hate for it either. It's far from bad, or ugly. Just simple and a bit abstract in its designs.
Mirage is way better-looking, and a big part of that is the absence of excessive filters.
Play Unity again, it's really bad. Especially when you try on an outfit in the menu (which has no filters), pick a color you like, and then go back to the normal game and see that color turn into complete shit.
monster train isn't exactly the worst but it's representative of something awful
I loved Mirage but I was genuinely disapointed with how the graphics didn't live up to Unity or even Syndicate.
To use one objective example, compare the vast crowds of people at the start of Unity to the tiny handful of people attended the bazaar auction in Mirage. That scene should have been as packed with NPCs as Unity was.
And I agree, but Mirage I can play without my eyes burning, Unity I cannot.
They had amazing graphics and decided to smear shit all over them
I always see people say how ugly it is and I've never understood it. It looks fine. It doesn't look especially good, but it's inoffensive at worst.
Persona 5. Gaudy, overdone and sacrifices ease of use for 'style'.
Hades? Really? That game looks clean as hell. Say what you want about the gameplay or the dialogue, but the art direction is straight-up cohesive and stylish. Jen Zee carried that whole game’s visual identity. Feels like you're just hating to hate.
