There are a lot of drugs out there that do similar things, anon. The only people who assume it's definitely coke are non-junkies. Could be that he's also taking an antidepressant, was unable to get access to it for a few days, and the timing was just bad enough that he started experiencing discontinuation syndrome (which can be made a lot worse in the presence of stimulants, like coke).
That's just one of many other possibilities. It's very likely that stimulants played a big part here, but there's no telling whether it was coke or something else.

At the height of SSRI withdrawals (at least), that kind of shit is par for the course-- ESPECIALLY if you take a hard stimulant with it. Which is a rookie mistake, because the assumption is that it'll help keep your head straight even when you've got electricity firing every which way across your synapses.

This is a very small issue to look at (some conflict over in the middle east) compared to how he was cancerous in every other way when it came to how he conducted himself as a gaming media personality/reviewer. The reason Adam sucks is because he became a sort of half political activist for 'liberal progressive values' like every other journalist at the time. It's perfectly illustrated in that God of War Ascension review. He got behind figures like Anita Sarkeesian etc. (Who actually supports Palestinian liberation by the way).
Nobody did. Back in the golden days there was this weird fellow kids push into gaming where they wanted to associate it with doritos and dude bro shit, and it was roundly mocked by actual gamers. Fast forward a few years and you have a lot of people who think it's the real thing, on both sides, redditors especially hate that exaggerated caricature gamer that doesn't even really exist and never did. This sort of "I'm a REAL gamer and its a REAL gamer TV show!" thing was an early attempt at that.
