Problem with the switch 2 is that it's not innovative. it's not anything new it's just pay an extra $500 and keep playing the exact same games that look the exact same as switch 1 games visually and mechanically.

I have a 4070 Super and a 7000 series Ryzen CPU so it's not the best in the world, but I agree with this. Every single time a game requires more than a 1080 or a 1060, you can accurately predict that there will be a shitstorm online primarily because they can't run the game.

I used to think like that, because keyboard/mouse is just not nearly as intuitive as using a controller.
But the last switch game I played that wasn't just a port of a 10+ year old game was pikmin 4 and that only kept my interest 6 hours. I would say the opposite, I probably haven't even turned my switch on in 6 months while I game regular on PC.
Using a controller + setting TV as a second monitor it feels no different to playing on PC or a console.

The ps5 had a bad launch lineup that's why i played mostly ps4 games on it after I got it. It felt more like a usual pc upgrade, than a console generation upgrade.
But I do remember being really exited for the ps4 launch back then.

freesync and VESA adaptive sync are royalty free, and HDMI forum VRR is presumably covered by normal HDMI royalties.
the only way it could be a licensing issue is if they planned to solely support G-sync and then decided at the last minute they didn't want to pay royalties for it. it is possible this happened since nintendo is retarded and nvidia said VRR in handheld mode specifically would use G-sync.
