It's so much smaller than I remember

stop using The Sims 3 map as a bait you dumb third worlder

That's the beauty of it. It didn't need to be massive, and it still didn't manage to use every inch of the map for missions.

Shame that the western island is a total shithole. The easterm island is heaven on Earth.

I said the same thing when I lost enough weight to see my cock again.

Tiny

All that wasted space

How the fuck did I spend hundreds of hours on this I'll never know.

Haven't replayed any of the old GTA games since I was a kid because I'm worried they'll be shit and my nostalgia will be ruined.

people keep memeing the beach being too big but that airport is no joke

now you understand why under 30's shouldnt be allowed to vote

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID XD

It's as big as it needs to be.

You spent tens of hours amassing an arsenal and then using it to provoke the police

I'm surprised how well something like VC or GTA3 hold up desu. But then again I'm completely fried on GTA games and can't even finish GTA4 or GTA5 before getting overwhelmed with boredom

GTA3 doesn't hold up at all. It's fucking garbage

Vice Village.

I NEED BIG OPEN WORLD FULL OF NOTHING

PLEASE FILL IT WITH USELESS COLLECTABLES, UBISOFT TOWERS AND FAST TRAVEL

Why are zoomers like this?

I had extremely strong feelings of nostalgia for VC and SA. I replayed them recently and holy hell do they hold up. I have to physically restrain myself from replaying them again too soon.

You didn't, you simply believe that you did. You probably did not spend more than 50 hours playing this game.

But your small world is also full of nothing?
How many of those buildings can you even enter? Like five

It's possible I did just that. It was a long time ago now.

You drove around listening to the best soundtrack in all of gaming.

Will we ever again get a GTA game that isn't realistic? Running people over in VC and watching them comically fly away or get splattered never gets old.

Kek, some solid self depreciating humor there anon

So what parts of Miami is this supposed to represent? Because Miami looks nothing like that

I have never played a grand theft auto game

*Trump leans into the mic*
"Wrong"

Airport needs to be this big otherwise I won't be able do do sick motorcycle stunts

Vice city always felt tiny to me. Even back in the day on the PS2. Now San Andreas felt fucking gigantic. I was blown away that such a "huge" map could ever fit on a DVD disc. Of course when you look at it now, the map is actually small. But they were really smart with the shape of the map, using long windy roads and so forth to artificially make it FEEL bigger. And fog too.

It'll be up to some indie to make a spiritual fan-letter game like that

We could've still had that if Saints Row didn't implode on itself with The Third and beyond.

The 3D era games weren't going for realism. They were going for a certain "feel". Liberty City doesn't look anything like New York either in GTA3. But it does capture that grimy depressing city feeling perfectly.

I stand corrected. Did I mention I dont know what im talking about?

San Andreas, my beloved, I didn't explore you enough.

You have nostalgia for them, so it's very likely you'll enjoy them on a replay. Every GTA game except V does not hold up at all (and that's only because the controls are good).

Yeah, San Andreas remains my favourite videogame map. Rockstar perfected the GTA formula with this one, it was silly and varied, and somehow felt massive while being small. Shame they only care about multiplayer money now and lost all their talent. GTA6 will likely be dire.

Oh yeah they were masters of playing with scale. If you look at Grove Street itself it takes up a ridiculously large percentage of the city, even though it's just one cul-de-sac.
It's still one of the best videogame tricks of all time. It's like they knew exactly which places the human brain would ignore, and saved space there

was he right?

Driving through the countryside after Tenpenny kicks you out of Los Santos

Freebird kicks in as you drive towards San Fierro and can see the golden gate bridge in the distance

I loved this game so much.

The perfect size

At first I was disappointed that it was smaller than gta3, but soon this city became my favorite.

Forgettable/Nothing here

I really liked these places cause it felt eerie, but yeah, it was quite forgettable

Nice comfy town

I really liked driving from nw to ne, also I don't know why airport isn't mentioned on this map :/
Rest is more or less on point

Also just realised this isn't even the actual map there's a bunch of shit missing lmao

You know... I generally don't have much interest in newer video games. But witnessing the beauty of Miami in this picture. Perhaps i will indulge myself in purchasing GTA6.

u did this thread multiple times already and got exposed with this cut fake ass map, KYS
