Hence, we got a Ciri that looked older and uglier for a trailer where she was supposed to only have old and serious expressions.

It's not that bad, if you like Mass Effect 1 despite the rigidity you should be able to enjoy Witcher 1, it's less rigid but it is old.
If you can disregard typical rigidity and jankyness from 2000-2005 games you should enjoy this one, I did personally.

1 is a really, really rough slog at first. Gameplay is genuinely good but you only get to enjoy it in the final act. Still worth it. Play neutral path for canonicity. There's some jank but it's amazing how good it is for the time it was released. Then again it might be worth waiting for that rumored remake that's happening.

Separately: I watched both seasons of Andor thinking Dedra seemed so familiar, only later finding out she voiced Yennefer in W3.
