One of the shitty things about the Brawl games is the characters try to take way too much from their games of origin. Melee Bowser's up B is just "spins around and goes up" but you know if Bowser was new to Ultimate his up B would summon his clown car and let him fly around for 10 seconds.

he's not in, and neither are any of the other characters people KNEW were in, like Ridley, K. Rool, Isaac, etc.

the only actual new characters left were Toon Link, Lucario, ROB, and Wolf, who were Brawl's equivalents to Dark Pit, Bayonetta, Incineroar, and Byleth in the "undying hatred" department

Ganondorf was changed, getting those cool choke and sparta kick moves, but has no sword outside of a taunt
