There's barely any horror. The story is mostly a romantic one about a girl with constant anxiety attacks under a clinical trial and her autistic nurse. They end falling for each other, but later when he convinces her to go to his house to try to stop her from going back to her shitty job, she finds that he has been obsessively stalking her, he had a small hidden altar dedicated to her and even stole her jacket to jack off on it. You can choose to have her accept him because she realizes that he's as lonely as her and she really liked him, but right after that she discovers a hidden basement where she finds the body of the coworker who sexually abused her, showing you a flashback of how the nurse kidnapped him and tortured him to death by drilling on his spine.

And you can still make her accept him after he confesses to murder, which ends on a happy ending with them marrying and moving to another house. Honestly, if they had removed that last part, the game would have still been a cute and corny love story, but we gotta SUBVERT EXPECTATIONS.
