Whats the best entry in the series if I just want like, a distillation of "DMC"? Like, Dante on his best adventure? I never managed to get into the series over the years, despite a decent amount of interest and friends encouraging me. But now it feels like I missed the boat. DMC5 is offputting as an outsider - like it almost feels like Sonic Adventure 2 in the way all the promo material I see of it seems to not have Dante at all. Its all side characters who look nothing like they did in the early 2000s. Idk.
