I enjoyed it back when it came out, the glitches were hilarious, certain areas wouldn't load textures, so it looked like an N64 game, particularly near the highway. I wish the sequel wasn't canceled.

The only real tps that felt genuinely great and groundbreaking were max Payne 3,mgsv & tlou2. Everything else in the genre is a blur.

Deacon Saint John is probably one of the best characters in any game I’ve ever played. Other than that the whole game was pretty meh. Generic zombie slop

i had to pause the game when skizzo showed up with the colonel because i was laughing so hard. its a shame they didn't just make it a real syphon filter game instead of using it as easter eggs.
Remastered graphics update is free on pc you can also buy a new arcade mode that’s pretty fun. I guess snoy is testing the waters for a sequel. They took Bend off of the live service slop they were working on and cancelled it to reassign them to a new project (hopefully days gone 2)

Did you play on the difficulty settings that make the hoards strong enough advance on you faster than you can cut them down with magdumps? I noticed on the lower difficulty settings that the hoards are super easy to kill because you don't need to retreat or lead them into traps.
I played this on release on normal difficulty and now I’m replaying on PC on survival 2 with no save import. How fucked am I? The way I’m approaching gameplay so far is radically different than the way I first played on normal.

The lack of hud seems like a pointless thing. I played on the same difficulty that includes the hud elements.
You should be fine unless you try to kill hoards before you have proper weapons and a plan. It's worth taking out a few of the hoards early, because the PDW sidearm you get for it is the best overall weapon you can get before hitting the 2nd map.
Well shit thanks for the advice anon. The only annoyance I have so far is having to pull up the fucking map every few seconds to see if I’m taking optimal routes to objectives to maximize my gas.
