Remember when Fire Emblem had dignity?

Remember when Fire Emblem had dignity?

No. It was always a slop series produced on rapid fire to appease faggots looking for disposable waifus with zero personality and no more than 3 sentences of dialog in an entire game. Shining Force was always better.

i'd like this game to get a remake, just because Ike is cool

Shadow Dragon killed the series

Nothing says dignity quite like a canonically gay hero who takes it up his fag ass

Ike is the top and Soren is the bottom thoughever??

Never happened until Fates

new game announcement + Warrior 3 for Engage + S2 version for 3H and 3 Copes or at very least performance update

A man can dream

I love the tellius games. I love its writing and its characters.
I also love the diwine dwagon

Being a branded sub human

I want to eat Goldmary's shit...

it’s a nice dream

Cutesythea

Priam. Gay faggot retards blown the fuck out now and forever

Anon Babble isn’t ready for that conversation

Honestly always felt like a generic game. It sucks people elevated just cause of heroes success

It's just common sense. Why would a buff warrior bottom for a bookish twink mage?

holding the player hostage as they're forced to watch a miserably slow enemy phase.

Possibly the ugliest looking fe game coming directly after the best looking

made cav's stupidly strong (again)

Why's this game considered a classic again?

All the 3DSlop looks worse

This but the opposite

female mc in a fire emblem game

gay furries and IM GOING INSANE medallion

dignity

Remember when fire emblem had gameplay?

rd has some of the best gameplay in the series thoughbeit

On opposite day

FEfags don’t actually like FE

Ike isnt gay.
Literal headcanon

name 3 fe games with better gameplay

It had good gameplay story integration and unique mechanics, but the gameplay was dogballs

The holy trinity of Fire Emblem

fecross.png - 1254x1058, 1.15M

I can’t think of a single good map in PoR

Black knight will be kicking your door open soon

Clash

sorry to hear that you get all your opinions from youtube but you dont have to go out of your way to let us know

Who are you talking to?

Marriage with Marianne!

Thats not a trinity

I think most of them are just forgettable. Nothing really stands out when I play.

Being dumb af. At least her outfit is good for omo.

I think she was a really interesting take on the archetype of the blind zealot. Shes very devoted to her country and their people and she desires their love which causes her to do some terrible things that even she finds evil. Everyone around her can see how her actions are irrational or making her compromise her morals (mostly following the commands of evil people or hating my gary stu) but she is willing to do anything to free her country like assassinating the apostle of god or fighting the laguz (her secret kin). These are interesting scenarios because her warcrimes would lose her the love of Daein, but she loses no sleep over them. Meanwhile slaughtering subhumans is as Daein as apple pie, but its tearing her apart inside. Her closest guarded secret, her branding, is something that daein would hate her for but that plotline is kind of dropped prematurely.
I think she gets sidelined and shes such a moody bitch in part 1 that people just write her off. We never get a pay off to her zealousness and moral compromises because of yune. It leads to a lot of people thinking shes either simply evil or has no agency since her arc doesnt get an ending.

I always remember that your fliers can't cross some of the cliffs on that map like they could in other FE games and it made getting around really awkward.
It always just felt like a worse version of Cog of Destiny.

It's been forever since I played PoR or RD.
But I seem to remember them doing a lot of stuff like that. They had some interesting ideas that are just forgotten about or never developed further. Maybe some of it is buried in support conversations that I haven't read or something, but it felt like they just ran out of time or changed writers halfway through.

This. PoR was fine. But RD was such a letdown in comparison.
Starting with the weird choice of not having actual support conversations

No supports makes sense. Plenty of characters are only around for a chapters and the army splits make it hard to keep certain pairs together

RD at least tried to fix the boring fucking gameplay, even if it largely has the same issues. PoR is actually sleep-inducing to play.

No.

I still liked both desu. But I agree, there was a lot more lost potential in RD.
I get they were trying to give you a sense that more than one story is happening at a time, but I never cared for the narrative shifts denying me access to half the cast for a lot of the game.

Rd was zased because you got to use a massive portion of the cast and had a variety of army compositions. Better than 70% of the cast being permabenched because of deployment slots being stolen by your regulars.
Engage was the only other game where a big part of the cast gets to do something because the new recruits are OP

If the relays taught me anything, its that /vfeg/ hates growth characters. Shitty prepromotes carry every run because you fags either slaughter the growers or scrimblo them so hard that no one wants to use them anymore. Dont get me started on all the stealth killings

The mercenary you requested sir.

Shez!

Please observe proper handling precautions. Her warranty does not cover negligent or improper use.

If you guys actually cared about anything than being performative hipster faggots on social media because the 3DS games and 3H are so popular you would've made threads about Masayuki Horikawa's SRPG from two years back.
But you didn't.

What is the Fire Emblem community's consensus on the Tellius games? I haven't finished them yet. I like the story so far but the gameplay feels... meh. Especially the UI and game speed

like 5 incredibly generic playable characters with preset abilities in tiny incredibly generic grimdark maps

doesn't seem good
it's true FE players don't play games, but doesn't seem good

I asked for someone more well-endowed

The fuck you talking about?

Personally, I like them. But I'm probably very much an outlier.
I play on an emulator these days, so I can speed up the slow pace of enemy turns and even the map animations, which are still too damn slow. And I don't think I've played with the main combat animations on since the first time I went through them. The UI never stood out to me as being good or bad. What don't you like about it?
And I like the stories a lot, but again, that's just my personal preference. They're not perfect and rely on some dumb shit, mainly in RD, but I like them.

The UI never stood out to me as being good or bad.

Not him but no battle stats on enemy phase even with animations on is pretty indefensible. Fixed in RD, I admit, but god damn that was lazy and dumb.

Shit, you're right. I forgot about that. It's been a while since I played.

I don't think it shows the battle stats over the main animations either way, does it?

It’s incredibly basic storytelling but I like how Ike had to earn the respect of others like Shinion and Marshall

Besides that I think they’re fine, neither as great nor as terrible as people will claim
