Iron Fist is in a pretty perfect spot balance-wise. In the hands of a retard he can only kill other retards and in the hands of a good player he has to play around his team and have excellent game sense to get value.

The real reason higher ranks are seeing more Iron Fist play has absolutely nothing to do with Iron Fist becoming good and everything to do with Wolverine becoming bad.

Dive is one good support hero away from being the dominant strategy. They already have top tier dps and strong tanks with very viable counters, all of which can be banned if your team is all-in on playing dive

Meanwhile, in reality. Whenever i dive in and harass the enemy's healers, and nobody is peeling for them, I'm usually winning the game without efforts because enemies can't get any heals reliably.

i'll start playing ranked again when they introduce role q. i'm just a casual player so my rank is quite low, but there's just nothing enjoyable about my team fighting about roles then giga tilting before we've even left spawn

the balance changes also seemingly make zero sense and suggest the devs have no idea what they actually want to do with the game. the game still has its moments of fun, but i seemingly am just fighting my teammates more than the enemy team in the majority of the matches, and thats when it stops being fun for me. i'd rather play an RPG or something than waste my time crossing my fingers for a non-tilted team.

i've had teammates on voice chat unironically have their smoke alarm chirping in the background while they're trying to tell the team how to play the game.

Iron Fist is at least amusing with how braindead he is and how long it can take him to secure a kill. Spiderman is straight cancer and should get nerfed into the ground from how poorly designed he is.

All spooderman needs is a cap to his maximum move speed when swinging so other heroes can actually play against him

Yeah, I basically never die to Fist as support at this point so I don't really care about him, but the amount of other supports who just run backwards and die and tanks who just sit there on my teams make me want him gone regardless.

The game's fun and it had me hook line and sinker from release to march, but in the end it still has the same glaring problems all hero shooters have like overpowered cooldown abilities, visual clutter, and fucked up balancing all over the place. Ended up dropping it a week before season 2.

The hero shooter genre in general is just complete shit by design, even if it has some good attempts at multiplayer vidya like Marvel Rivals.

In 1.5 his sun punch did 10 base and 1.7% max hp
In 2.0 his sun punch does 9 base and 2.1% max hp
It works out to break even against 250hp targets and, again, about a 300ms TTK difference against the highest HP target.

his heal was buffed!

his heal was reworked before 2.0 so that he had higher base HP and gained more overshield but it decayed. The 2.0 change was just lowering the overshield amount and the decay - it's a placebo change that works out to the same amount of effective armor (one hit when entering the fight)

The only difference between 1.5 Fist (F tier!) and 2.0 Fist (S tier!) is the tiniest of damage boosts and 2 seconds off his kick (which he doesn't spam off-cooldown anyways).

He's exactly the same as he was last season. Wolverine is different.
