I always hated versus when I played L4D2 regularly. I'd probably have hated regular L4D2 too if I played with randos, it's very much a "play with dedicated friends or don't even bother" kinda game.

The simplest answer to this problem is to cut off the internet is turn off the internet and/or kick them out. Have them earn enough to afford to play video games.
When you spawn in as a boomer 30 seconds before your intended attack and get easily shut down, or rush in and die in 5 seconds as tank, then it’s obvious that you lack fundamental knowledge to be a contributing member to your team and will be a hinderance the whole game if left. Anyone can tell you how utterly grueling it is when you’re on the team that can’t get more than 50 points of damage the whole round as infected or die halfway through a map because one noob decided to not stick with the team.

I don't think I've ever experienced a more horrible community than l4d versus. It's unreal.
It's hard to say one way or the other, but I would maybe say that TF2 Youtubers (and their followers) are probably worse, because of their insistence on shitting in other people's places.
Maybe L4D2 Versus retards are at least aware that the small amount of "control" they have won't extended to polluting literally every discussion about the game with demands for changes and forcing people to interact with them.
