Didn't get all of the achievements

didn't get all of the achievements

You didn't beat the game

okay

I did. I used the steam content manager and got them all while you wasted hours of your life grinding some tedious bullshit achievement that they didn’t even test.

didn't get all of the achievements on retroachievements

You didn't beat the game

achievements

that would implying that i bought the game on steam and didn't pirate it

i absolutely hate whoever did the achievements for FFIX. Whoever did that is legitimately going to hell

piracy

Didn't beat the game. Buying the game is the first step toward beating it.
Based. This is an anon who beats his games.

cheating

You didn't beat the game
Literally seething over the fact that he didn't beat the game.

I did get all the achievements for a meme game but it feels kinda pointless when no one is there to compliment it.

look this shit up

includes shit like 100% speedrun mario 64 in two hours

autism website

I saw all the content, I don't need to sit in some corner of the map and kill 100 goblins

you didn’t beat the game

I did. Anyone looking at my profile and your profile will think they’re exactly the same. You wasted hours of your time farming 3000 nigger dicks while I just clicked my mouse over the achievement unlock icon. I also got more free time to do other things that I actually enjoy doing while you accomplished NOTHING.

getting all achievements, doesn't mean you 100% a game.
achievements are one of the most useless things in gaming.
they're all stuff you get by playing the game normally and advancing in the main quest, completing sidequest or doing some minimal stuff.
if the achievements were harder like "beat the game without dying or beat the game at lvl 1" then they'd be cool, but all of them are "do this unavoidable thing to progress the game"
if you didn't play the game, with all it's content, doing everything you can, without ever thinking about the achievements, you NOT only achieve anything, but also DIDNT beat the game

Replay the entire game with blue pants so we can pretend there's replay value

Nah.
Also am replaying Kingdom Hearts and only using the Kingdom Key

Actually the worst of the bunch, at least you use to get gamerscore or trophies, this is just pure CHECK MY PROFILE PLEASE

mmhmm

I only 100% games that I love AND has non-bullshit achievements
I ignore any speedrunning or multiplayer achievements cuz they're not fun
RA is shit
Most achievements are shit because they're made by turbo autismos

eva joker.jpg - 936x785, 51.97K

daily dose colors

Those kinds of achievements are mainly there to show the percentage of people who got to that part of the game.

Now this is impressive

I'm not grinding those online achievements, fuck off.

I just 100% Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It was a wild ride.

I ignore any speedrunning or multiplayer achievements cuz they're not fun

based i got DOOM 2016 for $5 and was thinking about getting all achievements but then i noticed it had multiplayer one and just never cared again

The cope is off the charts.

You looked at a subset, not the normal Mario 64 set. Normal sets do have achievements like that but they're usually manageable by most people as long as they put in some effort.

grind achievements

Achievements locked behind paid online and paid DLC

lol lmao

TFW Dead Rising was one of the first and few games to really get achievements right

TFW it was also like one of the first games to have them

Really peaked immediatly then stopped trying.

Side tangent: I'm surprised but not really surprised that there's never been replicas of video game ribbons.
Metal Pokemon badges? Acrylic Rupees or Job Stones? Wooden Ocarinas? 3D Printed Platinum Trophies? Sure, all viable and proven sellers.
But ribbons? Surprisingly not made. No Pokemon Ribbons, no Final Fantasy Ribbons, no Steam Ribbons.

Never played this game but how does this even happen? After so long you think you would have at least a few.

Thanks, doc!

Completionists are shit-eaters. If there was an achievement for playing until your arms fell off, would you get that one too?

You have to play in "Iron Man" mode to unlock the ability to get achievements. You can't save in Iron Man mode. It's a strategy game that takes hours upon hours to get to mid-game in.

Have to spend 12 hours without breaks to get an achievement

Damn, that's rough

uses achievement unlocked

Oh yes I did, and while you were busy being a no life faggot I won IRL too

You can save to leave, you just can't save to go back to an old save if you fuck up, the lack of achievements for that anon is because mods also disable achievements.

game has no achievements to begin with, and is so obscure that it never will

What now, fuckers?

watched the 100% achievement playthrough on youtube

yeah, im thinking i beat the game

this was a good idea in concept but it's a pile of shit in practice.
there is no testing, no standards for quality and these achievements are made by some of the most clinically insane fucks in existence.

The only person I know who is an "achievement hunter" owns multiple physical copies of Paw Patrol, plays gatcha games along with thinking Concord was an amazing game, and still whines about how "PC gamers are egotistical" on Reddit

includes achievements by design

you played an incomplete game

along with thinking Concord was an amazing game

There's no way such a specimen exists

I haven't spoken with him since high school, but he hasn't changed account names for like 20 years

Capture.png - 1759x409, 34.65K

hot take: if a dev needs to put 'achievements' into their game then the game is not very good

people who are better at games than me are shiteaters

I’ll give you props, that’s a new kind of cope at least

sony requires it

Lawbreakers was a perfectly enjoyable shooter. More fun than Boredomwatch

proving my point.

multiple achievements locked behind a multiplayer mode that has been dead for 12 years

IMG_0203.png - 680x575, 218.04K

For some reason I doubt that the guy cheating at video games for virtual accolades nobody cares about is winning at life

The games are clearly designed around iron man and the most fun you can have in map painters is recovering from bad wars

that they need to be bad to be on their console?

multiple achievements

multiple

It's even worse when there's only one achievement like that, because then you can complete 99.9% of the achievements, but you'll always be missing that ONE

achievement locked behind an event... that happened 9 years ago

fucking niggers

achievement requires playing with other people in tacked-on multiplayer mode

online community is non-existent

nah fuck off

mutliplayer achievements

online is either dead or are only filled with sweats that won't ever give you the chance in getting such achievements

Why the fuck would I bother.

achievement is doing some convoluted shit like jumping off a high enough cliff (not stated) and doing a kill-animation on some enemy mob you have to lure there which has a 99.9% chance of failure

I use Cheat Engine for grindy shit, if I can do something enough to get 2-3 good scans of a value then I basically proven I could had done it millions of time. Sometimes I just use Steam Achievement Manager when it is a conditional that is just annoying to achieve though. "Deal at least 10 million damages in a single attack" on Disgaea type shit. I have 5 other Disgaea games to move to, I'm not playing the first anymore than I have to.

decreasing the rarity of grind achievements that people wasted their time grinding legitimately

actually, truly, unironically based

i dont think i’ve ever 100% any game

Batman Arkham Origins
I still see people willing to get 100% single player stuff despite that

i want to be more of an achievementfag but i lose all motivation after finishing the game, even if i had played the game with the intentions of 100%ing it, outside of a few rare instances
i have a handful of games i played recently where i could probably finish the 100% with 3-5 hours of playing that i might go back to soon, i think if i do it a few times i'll have more motivation to do it more often
i've been marathonning every RGG game the past few months and i have no idea how people go for the 100% in games like these though. the exception being LAD Gaiden, that's one of the games i will probably go finish the achievements for soon

plays grindy game

doesn't wanna grind

legitimately retarded.
there's no sense in even playing it then.

I was just answering the question.

I won't ever understand this mindset. The only value achievements have is to yourself. Why would you pretend you did something that you didn't do?

The standard Pokémon Stadium set has an achievement for beating hyper CPUs in a minigame tournament which is nigh impossible for some of the minigames on a modern display.

Gamerscore and trophies give you nothing

completion. cheating is justified if the game task is just badly thought out time wasting garbage.
an achievement is something like

"beat Boss 3 without taking any damage"

not

"play the game for 10000 hours"

t. never played 360 online

But you didn't complete it.
