Is this considered a good 1st lineup for third party games on a launch system?

Some of these would be pretty cool like elden ring & FF VII remake should have been physically on the cart itself

We all know mario odyssey 2 is still in the works

the switch had only puyo puyo tetris, that street fighter II ultra hd remix & knuckles thing and skyrim i guess, so, switch 2 lineaup is insanely superior

Ignoring the game key card thing and focusing purely on the games sure, it's a fantastic launch lineup. That image doesn't include Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy, Civ VII and other big games either.

there's a rumor there is switch 2 cartridge shortage, and Nintendo reserved basically all the cartridges for them leaving turd parties only the key card option.

Marvelous is a low-tier publisher yet all their launch period games will be on card and with an upgrade path while Sega can't be assed to do either to the point you're required to buy Sonic X Shadow Gens and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 again at full price? I doubt Nintendo is solely responsible.

IIRC they're all also 64GB cards, which would be overkill for most games. The rumor is that Nintendo isn't giving publishers the smaller cards that'll be available later, but the 64GB cards are available. So games that would fit on a 8GB/16GB card like Bravely Default and Puyo Tetris 2 are just shipping on key cards instead because the devs don't want to fork out for the 64GB cards, and at that point, I kind of get it even though I don't agree. Also worth noting that Marvelous's games are also only shipping on 64GB cards OUTSIDE OF JAPAN, the exact same games in Japan are shipping on key cards.

It's alright. I won't be buying one until some other games are announced but if I bought one right now I'd buy the mario kart bundle, daemon x machina and guardians of azuma.

Just because they weren't in the initial reveal doesn't mean they aren't real. IIRC the game with the latest release date that has an actual confirmed date right now is in August.
