2.- in order to infect computers with virus using a freaking game, you would need to upload and provide people with your 'infected' copy of the game. you cant enforce updates like with the real game because the updates have to go first thru the platform owners for verification (nintendo, sony, microsoft, valve).

depends on the game. At the very least I think a few landing recovery frames that you can cancel into attacking and blocking and shit is a good idea, since it makes just holding up not look silly while your character bounces frame perfectly

what is not a good mechanic is landing recovery that only applies if you don't overwrite it by pressing a normal right before landing, and no reason not to overwrite it. Hate that shit in melty, just pointlessly makes the game feel sticky and unpleasant to move around in until you train yourself to constantly press buttons that don't do anything except overwrite landing recovery while not actually making empty airdash low/throw or whatever they were intended to nerf any weaker.
