try the demo out, it's the first two missions and the save carries over if you get the full game. Might be worth waiting for a discount, I never suggest getting stuff full price

I think it's Jedi: Survivor. It's pretty good imo. Much better than Fallen Order save for the part you have to play the ugly quintessential videogame sheboon for a section

It's honestly amazing, they even addressed the realistic saber complaint by adding in a realistic saber mode once you complete the game and the combat system is fantastic. It got Elden Ring sales even though nobody talks about, 20+ million.

You'll appreciate if you play it and happen to enjoy those things, Survivor is such an upgrade over Fallen Order it's crazy. I'm hoping the 3rd game has such a leap as well. Really, they're just great Star Wars adventures.

Elden Ring just hit 30 million and generated so much cross-cross culture hype with Fromsoft pairing with George RR Martin that it's no surprise it drew in so many. Star Wars may be enduring but it's not gonna be as flashy and draw people like it used to, it's part of the norm these days. I think a lot of people would prefer it if they could make their own character too.

Eclipse is still coming and it has combat unlike previous games from Quantic and it's meant to be a really huge and massive experience, maybe it'll have some really in-depth character customization...but it might not

Sure, they included a recap but Fallen Order has that combat as well. But yeah, it's even better in Survivor, more options and more styles so it feels even better. And once you complete Survivor you get access to the bonus perks like realistic saber functions just instantly cutting stuff apart which is fun.

Also remember to listen to blaster shots being fired at you from off screen so you can use the timing of it to deflect the shots back, feels amazing

The rancor in that cave ate me like 40 times. I did beat him though without pussying out to come back later. Theres a couple bones you can pick up and make him choke on.

thanks, I'll put it in my wishlist then. I could play the first one too but due to limited time I'd rather jump straight into the better experience and if I really like it I can always go back to the other one

Apparently it crashes but i havent had any issues on my 5600x and rx 9070.

idk if I'm blessed or something but I've never had big performance issues even on notoriously problematic games, I'll take my chances

When Survivor launched it had MAJOR technical issues that made it crash, or lock up. There were numerous issues that were made all the worse thanks to denuvo, but it's gotten the patches its needed since then and denuvo was removed! It performs fantastic now.

Survivor has pointless open world bloat + Kathleen Kennedy "High Republic" AIDS shoehorned into the story.

The writer is competent and made the High Republic stuff interesting. And it's not bloat at all, it's just really big zones to explore.

The writing is kind of ass though. And WTF was that 9th sister character design.

The rancor is not a mandatory boss, you went off road into side content early in the game. I can tell you're early in the game by your clothes and your max 3 stims, perhaps you should ask yourself whether you're supposed to be easily soloing every boss in the game from early on?
