Can you Parry and Dodge in Persona 5? I've not played it for a long time so I don't remember.
But the system is really cool they've got in Exp 33, you've got a limit break which is gradient attack, enemies have it too but you can also Parry it if you time it right. Enemies have different patterns for attacking so it takes some skill to learn to Parry, dodging is easier as you have a wider window with a normal dodge and Perfect dodge but if you learn how to perfect the timing on Parry you can build your AP skill gauge which gives you access to your abilities faster and if you take no hits parrying during an attack you can counter attack. The game rewards skill and strategy.
Also it has elemental weaknesses something FF16 does not just to circle the post back to OP's point of this being about FF.
