Depends on what you want out of cardio I guess. I'm no expert but I assume as a high intensity workout to burn carbs its not great but from what I played it certainly gets you moving and sweating a bit.
Can this be emulated? Like does it have a non motion track mode where you follow along?

It is actually, i played it quite a bit, the fast songs get a bit stupid but i enjoyed it.
Just get up and go for a walk. If you have a bike go ride it. If you're starting from 0 then there's no use going to a gym or trying anything fancy. Focus on improving your general fitness level.
You don't need to run the marathon. Do a 30 minute walk every day. Start small.
Just do actual boxing cardio like footwork and throwing 1-2 and some uppercut/hook combos, cardio games like these are lackluster about teaching you shit, even the VR boxing game is a better choice.

Think of a jab as a stab, otherwise shoot from the hips not the shoulders by twisting forward the side you are striking from and pull with the other. This is how you punch in boxing and generate much more speed and force output. Use the back foot to pivot never lift off your front foot to turn for a punch, bending of the knee downwards helps speed up as well.

This game does a decent job of teaching you how to do the boxing motions, the problem is that it's all on you to do them correctly since all the game can detect is whether there was some sort of movement at the appropriate time
Just start doing push ups (or high planks), pull ups (or deadhangs), bench dips and bulgarian split squats
Walking 30 minutes a day does jackshit to a fatty when they don't have a diet in check or any other fitness routine..
