Switch had one of the best libraries Nintendo's systems ever had and there's enough early adoption excitement that I see this trend continue even without Wii U's backlog propping it up. Original Switch was worth buying just for Bayonetta, Astral Chain, Xenoblade, Zelda and Splatoon games for me. I think people who don't expect Switch 2 to be a good system just simply hate videogames.

There was a rumor but I don't think anything concrete came out of it. Switch games remain bootable on emulators, generally speaking. How would a Denuvo even work on console? It works on PC by obscuring the actual executable in a kind of virtual machine but is there a need for that on a console in the first place?
