Is Expedition to Anon Babble what Attack on Titan was for Anon Babble?

??? does E33 have a game shattering ending that ruins years worth of build up and demolished the entire board on release?

On the contrary, the ending is the best part of the story that saves many shitty written moments during the game.

AoT was relevant for nearly a decade. Astro Turf: Asset Flip 33 will be forgotten in a month, never to be heard of again

Not even close, no. Snk was a giant shitshow 10 years in the making.

many shitty written moments

name 3

zoomies think SnK broke Anon Babble

It was such a shit conclusion all it had were a few extra threads before disappearing in a wet fart.
Code Geass is the only series to actually break Anon Babble

- Nobody knew that Renoir was the commander of the first expedition, which is absurd.
- It makes no sense that the Painter wants to save the inhabitants of Lumier while the Fake Renoir kills the members of the expeditions instead of explaining the situation to him and fighting the Real Renoir together.
- The Third Act is too short, it should have happened at least halfway through the game, is rushed as fuck.

This is actually a good comparison because they both deal with the concept of having characters live in a world that they don't really understand at first and as the story goes on the world opens up more and the characters go through changes accordingly. I have done my own analysis on AoT and while I don't think it's a bastion of literary genius imo it handles it's world, characters, themes, and mysteries in a much more integrated way then how E33 is written.

....Really? That show is so fucking gay.

expedition 33 doesnt have the worst ending in all gaming

idk about 33 but Zeke was right.

AoT ending was based, genocidefags seething like the trannies they are because they're so desperate for the main character to lose his humanity in a show about maintaining your humanity. Anyone who watched all of AoT and think the ending was bad is not the target audience, the show is for people with functional brains above roomtemp iq not lukewarm goreniggers

Expedition 33 had 2 bittersweet endings it's not an argument between them but more so people are divided on getting a third true ending vs having to pick one of yhe 2

we all know mass effect 3 is the aot of gaming

100%

AOT became garbage when they left the island, E33 kept getting better after the expedition left the island.
They are not the same.

Nobody knew that Renoir was the commander of the first expedition, which is absurd.

Gustave was the expedition nerd, and he died before Renoir's name was revealed. Even if he'd survived the encounter, it'd have been a long time before he starts speculating that painted Renoir is the same Renoir from expedition 0, because that would require him to suspend disbelief and accept that not only did he survive the Gomage, but that he lived to the ripe age of 130.

It makes no sense that the Painter wants to save the inhabitants of Lumier while the Fake Renoir kills the members of the expeditions instead of explaining the situation to him and fighting the Real Renoir together.

Painted Renoir was killing expeditioners so that their Chroma could scatter and be used by Aline rather than get trapped in a vessel by nevrons. The goal is powering Aline with all the scattered chroma so that she can win her fight with Renoir and oust him from the painting. Just like Alicia did in her ending, Aline was going to revive everybody and carry on like nothing happened. The quote "This is a kindness, not cruelty" is in reference to the fact that Painted Renoir wants the painted people to remain ignorant of the true nature of the world for their own sanity. If you thought Sophie being a childless doomer was bad, imagine all of society becoming apathetic after learning that they're just playthings for a god that wants to play house.

The Third Act is too short, it should have happened at least halfway through the game, is rushed as fuck.

The third act is meaty as fuck, and all the side dungeons shed major light on big players like Clea and Renoir. The biggest con is that it's ALL optional, and you can make a beeline for the final boss whenever. Personally I would have preffered if "the Reacher" axon dungeon were mandatory before finishing the game, because the fate of Painted Alicia shouldn't be a loose end with how often she appears.

The third act is meaty

it's ALL optional

Pick one bucko

I got the perfect destroy ending in the trillogy collection on my first try and thought it was filled with optimism. It was alright. I had to research why people were pissed about it, and that's how I learned they rewrote the ending after huge backlash over the mass effect relays getting destroyed and essentially stranding everyone.

Those two statements are not mutually exclusive.

Leaving the island was fine. The conflict with the outside world was fine. AoT went to dog shit when the Fumbling started and Eren Yeager went from

I gotta protect muh island for muh freedoms

to

I dunno why, maybe Ymir knows, no more questions

Anon Babble somehow has even worse taste than Anon Babble

in a show about maintaining your humanity

For three seasons, the show is explicit that the only way to make significant change to the world is through sacrifice, sacrificing your own humanity in the case of Eren becoming a Titan and morality in favor of pragmatism in the case of Erwin Smith (and later Floch Forster).
Then Isayama the coward got infected by Marvel hysteria and decided to nosedive the story.
It's hard to believe the same story that massacred Eren's classmates had an "epic final battle" with literally zero 'heroic' casualties. By the end, it was entirely MCU-ified, and any plot holes created by the whiplash in themes were explained with

idk I'm insane now maybe Ymir could answer that one lol

story about changing the world through sacrifice

Eren sacrifices himself to save the world

b..b..b..but good endings are marvel

Shut the fuck up the fact that you even let that retardation out here is embarrassing maybe you should stick to your beloved marvel movies since you're clearly to retarded to realize even your own post was contradictory. AoTchads win again genocidecucks lost

AoT mindbroke the anime community so bad they're drooling on themselves while throwing an HRT fueled rampage so big that their tranny community came together to try and rewrite an already perfected story lmao "fans" of the show are literally braindead and can't be happy with the authors choices because it doesn't line up with their liberal views

to save the world

he literally killed 80% of it retardo

We all make mistakes here and there

Your first two rebuttals are solid, but I agree with the other guy about Act 3. Side content aside, Acts 1 and 2 were very well paced narrative chunks. 3 felt like a very anti-climactic boss rush towards the end. It was disorienting. The stuff with Clea and Simon, painted Alicia, and even reviving Noco or finding Lune's parents should have been weaved into the narrative, in my opinion.

not only that, all he did was useless

useless

Not so, he disarmed his race making it possible for the descendents of the people he didn't kill to exterminate the descendents of his friends.

so it's even worse, kek

Bro people are putting this in their top 10s already, its going to last longer than a month
Attack on Titan is the better written story tho

Total painter death. Kill painters. Behead painters. Roundhouse kick a painter into the concrete. Slam dunk the painter into the trashcan. Crucify painters. Defecate on a painter's canvas. launch painters into the Sun. Stir fry painters into a wok. Toss painters into active volcanos. Urinate on painters' brushes. Judo throw painters into a wood chipper. Twist painters heads off. Report painters to the canvas exterminator. Karate chop painters in half. Curb stomp painters. Trap painters in the desert. Crush painters in the printing press. Liquefy painters in a vat of acetone. Impale painters with fountain pens. Lobotomize painters. Mandatory recall for painting sets. Grind painters in the garbade disposal. Drown painters in hot ink. Vaporize painters with a plasma torch. Nuke painters. Kick old painters from the window. Turn painters into glue. - he wrote

Germany put the entire world through the grinder

Ended up losing

Eren follows the same path because "WWI / WWII with titans" is basically the idea

I did too want Adolf Jägger to succeed. But alas, Izayama had to be faithful to his historic allegory...

Did you read the story? It's not what happened, nobody really complains that Eren committed genocide, its that in the chapters leading up to the finale, things seemed rushed, Eren in his Armin bro talk was acting like a little kid, the avengers final battle is dumb but valid criticism, the quality just wasn't there. That's why people were hoping for an anime original ending that cleans up some of that quality issues

I've read and watched it and I've seen discourse on it for years across multiple platforms and the biggest complaint about the ending by far is that he didn't finish the genocide why do you think shit like requiem exists? Maybe it could have had more added to the current ending but they're not complaining about the quality but the narrative not suiting their butthurt tranny genocide desires

God I wish Eren had fully exterminated the enemies of his nation and race.

Kinda interesting how this was a thread about E33 and AoT but it devolved into arguing about AoT's story and ending. Kinda shows which one had the bigger narrative impact

This is a Gabi thread now.

latest.jpg - 850x850, 125.95K

I don't remember titan having any Madagascarian

There's nothing to argue about for E33 it had a good ending regardless of the choice. AoT had a good ending and trannys can't handle it that's why they're here seething and dilating

Isayama invented plot twists

AOT anime ending was universally beloved. EH shippers will keep on losing forever.

and endgame is the highest grossing movie of all time, yet it's nonsensical dogshit

"why are you black" is literally one of the first things the best character in AoT says to the first black she sees

No, one of them cucked out on the based genocide ending and will get ridiculed forever the other made the based genoicde ending the good ending

This might be a crazy opinion but I liked that AoT gives an actual ending. Like it wasn't executed perfectly but at least the author got to say his piece. With E33 the different endings kind of made it seem like the writer or the developers dont really give a shit about what E33 is trying to tell us, solely because two endings would generate more discussion then one. And it doesnt help that already two weeks later one ending is already the accepted "correct" ending, which is what I think is preventing it to being like the last of us ending, where what Joel did to save Ellie is still being debated based on whether the cure would have worked or not.

Act 1 is fully on rails. Act 2 is slightly open. Act 3 is fully open, which is why people generally refer to it as post game.

Endgame is pretty fun and it was well thought out to make the final battle pretty satisfying.

WHY DOESNT SHE HAVE A FOREHEAD? WHY IS HER FORHEAD HAIRY? WHOS HAIRLINE LOOKS LIKE THAT?

Engame would have been higher without all the stupid fortnight bs and wojak glasses wearing hulk. You can make a character deal with grief through humor but it felt like it was there to appeal to the lowest common denominator

JIBUUUUUUN WOOOOOOOOOOO

God i hate nu-Anon Babble and shitzoomers so god damn much, kill a zoomer, demoralize a zoomer, ruin zoomers future, make a zoomer suicide,

AoT left the island halfway through the story. E33 leaves the island in the prologue, I dont see what this is saying

overrated slop? yes
