cant find a solution to cheating for 30 years

explain?

>cant find a solution to cheating for 30 years

There is no solution. If you say that there is, you're just selling something. Every game has cheaters

behead all ritualposters

League has never really had a cheater problem, other than win traders I guess.
I can't think of another e sports title without actual hacks

riot fixed it by injecting the ac into kernel

people complained at first but are now admitting that it has actually improved the overall experience

valvecucks get up in arms when you offer them this very solution

What were you hoping would happen in this thread that you didn't get from the 13 you posted previously?

Solution is simple but corpos hate it; play the game. Have mods that have power to ban people actually enjoying themselves and checking that the game is fucking running.

Play Warzone: Die in the top 20 due to a cheater who literally aimlocks, doesn't even seem to target my body or where its going and has recoil correction.

Play PUBG, same thing even worse but at least the other bots I can deal with.

Both supposedly have an anti-cheat that doesn't seem to work. inb4 skill issue. I was dropping kills on a lot of people until I get dropped by a bunch of teaming cheaters and can land headshots with a Kar if I got a good scope for it for the distance in a PUBG match accurately. Not a skill issue. Some fuckers ignore damage if you spray on them and only take damage from single clicks on top. Its fucking dogshit trying to play any video game without admitting you will die to cheaters no matter what. In PUBG I had one guy for 10 seconds before encountering me by hearing my running stare into the wall and track a person through it, camping outside. Like this shit is not even funny anymore.

shoot into the smoke

get a lucky kill

modtranny bans me for cheating, money stolen

kys

idgi where's the cheat here?

I've shot people through walls whilst smoked and flashbanged in CS:GO with a p90 when I was tryharding comp. Never got banned, not my fault your hacks lock onto people's heads.

And was a mod looking over your shoulder, judging your every action with the potential to assume every action was cheated? NO? Then I guess your anecdote isn't relevant.

League has never really had a cheater problem

There are scripts for 100% dodging skills and shit.
Also it's possible to use cheat engine or something to get 0 cooldown flash and smite years ago.

They don't actually care. As long as the cheating isn't enough to cost the shareholders, it will never be properly addressed. They can add report buttons that do fuck all nothing, but make people feel like they are getting revenge on the cheater, and that's enough to satiate the (m)asses.

neither had dota, its about the genre, not so much about the game, tho some people to use "scripts" in thoes games too

fps just attract subhumans

Some of the people I had played with previously had used cheats and they got banned for cheats so... I suppose I was the only legit player there. I was anti-cheat the whole time and those fuckers were cheating behind my back.

League has never really had a cheater problem

What do you mean by this?

vanguard finally started cracking down on vmd dma cheats. People spent 1000$-2000$ on these devices/firmware to cheat in valorant
x.com/ItsGamerDoc/status/1922179718914199736

You never played valorant or care about it. Cheater got caught on live (some vtuber left wallhack in screen) in that game. Kernel anti-cheat does jack shit.

the solution is locking the game to a locked OS aka SteamOS

explain?

what you think is cheating is just a skill issue in 99,2% of cases

b-but he traced the outline through the wall

yes, predicting where your opponent can be is a huge part of the game
it's also why pros almost never have to aim, since their crosshair is already where it should be before the engagement happens

they got banned for cheats

The topic being discussed is peer review by spectating. Are you telling me the cheaters were banned because they were being watched, or because their bullshit got detected? If the latter, that's not helping your point.

you can't prevent cheaters in video games like you can't prevent ban evaders on Anon Babble. it's inherent qualities of the internet. require IDs and that will solve it.

One of them got banned for a shot that was through smoke like you said. They pretty much went giggling about how they were going to get banned for that shot too in chat afterwards. So yeah, they got what they deserved I suppose.

strabismus speedrun

There is no solution

there is
fuck matchmaking, return to private servers and have admins actually watching the game

Hadware cheats are below OS level you utter fucking troglodyte

Nobody gets permanent bans on Anon Babble its 2-3 days at most unless you do something criminal here I shit you not election tourist.

SteamOS is a Linux OS and easily hackable and moddable. Even Android which is just Linux based as well is basically hacker heaven.

What would make you think you can prevent cheating based on OS when you can have even cheaters on consoles using controllers with built in cheats or USB software that preloads the cheats and lets you cheat that way through the controller? Its fucking retarded to assume that would stop anyone when modern cheating also includes stuff like bot lobbies and AI based cheat software where the AI aims for you.

you get a perma ban after something like 6-80 bans, whenever mods feel like it, newfag

brown tier reading comprehension

You skipped this one on purpose to make yourself look good but you turned yourself the color of what comes out of your asshole into the toilet by doing so:

0 cooldown flash and smite years ago.

That was like...12 years ago or something, Dr Horrible or whatever, and it was an issue with old masteries.

due to how fps games are programmed, they're just the "best" games for cheating.

wallhacks etc. are very hard to detect because they don't modify anything or need access to serverside data, these cheats only read data your client has access to anyway. even just wallhack puts you massively ahead against everyone else in games like tarkov and CS

aimbot is hard to detect as well. every now and then i play against a guy who has 60% average accuracy in marvel rivals, even though the best hitscan players have something like 50% at best. these people cheat just enough to be slightly less dogshit at the game, and stop there.

meanwhile most forms of cheating aren't really even possible to try in games like dota, because everything is handled and kept serverside and client can only really make inputs or read the data the server sends

fps just attract subhumans

that's really most competitive pvp games in general. the fact that people cheat isn't even the main problem, because we used to have cheaters back in the day too. they just turned the aimbot up to 100% and trolled the entire server, because that's what was fun to them. but people that play fps now are from certain, ahem, cultures, and they tend to cheat because they want to win and get a higher rank. it's a quirk of their culture that they don't actually view their achievement as illegitimate just because they cheated, and instead they just view it as like an "upgrade" like we would view getting a better mouse.

that's what makes fps games so shit now. everyone cheats but they do it in subtle ways so you never know when a match is legit or not. and worst of all when these people do get banned, they will jump through literally every hoop they need just to cheat some more. the process of dodging a ban and continuing to cheat in something like valorant is fucking insane, but you have people doing it anyway because they just really, really need to cheat.

the maps never changed, the corners are the same every game, it's easy to learn the corners and just instinctively watch/pre shoot them

They do but its been a continuous cheater arms race the entire time because there will always be cheaters who are willing to spend hundreds of dollars to make up for their lack of skill.

Online Chess is also populated by cheaters and its no even funny.

Moves are made exactly the same time span.

A single mistake made on purpose they start playing their own moves and can potentially fuck up and let you win.

When the clock ticks to about 5 seconds in they are making pre-moves without time between enough to even think those many moves deep with automated scripts potentially winning a losing position.

Its a constant problem with any genre. Fighting games are also ruined by macro using botters. FPS is just admitted to it being a problem for a long time with easier to recognize the cheaters from replays of the death cam nowadays.

What causes this shit? Is it autism?

i dont know, having a "wall hack"(map hack) in stuff like DOTA seems like it would be really OP, since like half of the skill in that is having sense for positioning, where the enemies are, etc

there was a big enough market for n64 controllers that some independent start up company made a profit out of them due to the stick drift caused by use and the market was running out of said controllers, so yes, they are obsessive over nintendo official controllers.

wallhack generally isnt possible in dota because the server never even sends any kind of packets to the players that may indicate what is happening in fog of war. what you see on your screen is really all your client gets access to.

there are some instances where valve fucked up and accidentally exposed some data to the client, which script kiddies then use to cheat. then valve uses those as honeypots and bans huge chunks of the playerbase. i went and checked my match history after one of those banwaves and like 10-20% of the immortal playerbase (the highest rank) was using one of those cheats. you can imagine the whining on the forums after the banwave

1 account per cattle ID number

In wc3 they used maphacks and saw all your units

wrong

Right

show me 1(ONE) instance

wc3 used deterministic lockstep, which made maphack possible. i'll spare you the scientific mumbo and i'll just say that basically every single client in wc3 acted as the "server" and the only netcode the game really had was sharing inputs between players so they could all independently simulate what was happening. this kind of netcode allowed for hundreds of units with minimal network usage, but it also allowed for maphacks because all clients had to keep track of all units and actions at all times in order to maintain the integrity of the simulation.

dota and league use server authoritative netcode, which basically means the server is the sole owner of the main "simulation" and client machines only show and do what the server tells them to do.
