Why didn't Powerstone ever take off?

Probably wasn’t optimized right for competitive play. The secret characters are really cheap. Still, who cares? The game was really fun as a kid with multiplayer, I loved costumes in 2.

You forget the part where it had its own subgenre of rip-offs. Shrek Super Slam, the Billy and Mandy game, etc.

Because Power Stone 2 exceeded it in every single regard. Kys OP.

3d arena fighter

Has any ever been good?

Nice boobies

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3

The secret characters are really cheap

Kraken is pretty bad and Valgas is still worse than the top tier characters.

Naruto Storm games.

No Rouge bellydancing sex minigame

It's a 3D arena fighter, it's not as intuitive as 2D fighters like Smash. As such it never really took off. I loved this one though, and Power Stone 2 was even cooler. Dreamcast is overall the most tragic console failure, because it actually had a fucking cool library. I wish I'd never sold mine, I miss playing it.

Has any Capcom fighting game took off outside of Street Fighter?

Marvel vs Capcom maybe? But then that's just Street Fighter with cape shit on it

emulators are good. i only had power stone 1, might try the second one

Power Stone 2 is more of a party game than 1. It's more fun to play because of it, but 1 is more competitive.

It was disappointing going from 1 to 2 and seeing the amount of moves they removed

There's also a modern kaiju one called GigaBash that isn't bad

Because Power Stone 2 wasn't fun.

kill yourself

You first, Itsuno.

I wouldn’t say it wasn’t fun but definitely flawed and just needed to build upon what made the first one good

Nah, it's garbage. I regret buying the collection.

Tried it in the collection and didn't like it at all. Don't understand the hype.
Every character plays the same and playing against the AI isn't fun because they know where the OFFSCREEN powerup gems are and beeline straight to them as soon as the match starts.

didn’t ask

Should I watch the anime?

Don't care, Power Stone 2 is unplayable trash. Cope.

It did it just died with the Dreamcast

It’s alright, could have been better but still enjoyable

Budokai Tenkaichi.

just stick to your zoomerslop, pablo

It's nothing incredible, but it isn't bad and I don't see someone who's a fan of PS not liking it, unless they don't like the shipping the anime does.

Zoomerslop has, at bare minimum, thrice the depth and skill ceiling of Nigger Stone 2.

t. seething brown zoomertranny

It was on a bad console (dreamcast). I remember playing this for a while, the game had a very grindy way for unlocking new items

Power Stone 3 fucking when?
C'mon Capcom, Wilds must've secured your future for the next 5 years at least
you can spoil us a little

They left it on a dead system.

It was in those capcom leaks years ago, but I don’t know if I want modern capcom to touch it. Sadly I don’t think anyone can make character designs as good either so an indie might have good gameplay but look like shit

What are some good indie Powerstone-likes

dreamcast

It was on the PSP too, very few people care.

So is this on pc now? I might get it

Are they selling the Power Stone games separate from the others? Don't want to buy all that FGC slop.

No. Also, you lost the launch window in which you could find humans to play, nothing but sweaty niggers now.

I guess I can emulate it on Dreamcast then

because the PSP without exaggeration was just a monter hunter device

Dunno.
Capcom's smaller games like Power Stone are always way more interesting than their endless streetfighter clones.
I'm sure autistic competitive gamers had some bullshit nitpicky issues with it (they seem incapable of just having fun with anything).

capcom fighting collection only has the arcade version without the adventure mode and item shop

This is bullshit

psp emulation is great anyways. no real reason to buy the new rom collection, especially when most of them are on fightcade

POWERFUL!

No one's buying this because they don't know Fightcade exists. They're buying this because they know Fightcade has no players.
