a turn based MMORPG, where status affects and ailments impact the literal U.I, so you feel very involved. also to make up for the lack of real time movement, camera panning and effects like those in for instance FF9, would make everything seem cool and dramatic. so blind for instance, would affect the u.i in a such a way where it becomes difficult to select the attack command

as players run around in the overworld in PVP zones, they can initiate an overworld attack which, if successful, initiates a "fog of war" zone, from which other players can join in or spectate. from other players POV, they would see a fog with electricity coming out of it say, but they could not see whats going on inside unless they run up to it and choose to spectate or join

the more powerful you are, the more you dictate what goes on inside "the fog of war", so YOUR theme music, for instance might take priority over an opponents

in the game world im thinking of adding a few "monster towers", sort of like those towers from aladdin kingdom of magi that pop up in the world. if you can conquer a tower you can get rare treasures and things. inside the towers are giant labyrinths, mazes, traps and also rest zones where you can see other players hanging out inbetween floors

item customization and stats would be super in depth and complex, allowing for extremely unique set ups. for certain PVP events, people would have to conform to rulesets regarding their items, but for overworld PVP and some other PVP events, the sky is the limit. some people could create some extremely overpowered setups, and it would be allowed, but there would always be a strong luck element to the game which would at least give you some chance against those overpowered builds

magic in the game is controlled by a monster that attaches to your left hand, an alien type being that feeds off of psychic energy, but can manifest that energy into reality, in order to cast spells. it would be an all seeing eye type creature

the game world would have amazing locations in it. a literal super advanced technological kingdom, that floats around in the sky, and is invisible for instance. the storyline for people who start in the location would be that they betray their military due to concerns about the alien eye creatures, so it would be an "escape midgar" sort of arc, where you leave a super advanced tech city like midgar, except its invisible and floating. when you make it out to the overworld, you've never it before and are dumbfounded by how different it is. from there your journey begins

I mean go for it. If even half of the ideas came to fruition, it would be a boon for the vidya industry simply because they have some creativity to them. You will find though that an idea is a far cry away from actualizing it as a game. If it were that simple Id be a multimillionaire by now because shitting out "X but with Y unique twist with Z extra thing" as ideas is extremely easy for me to do. Turn-based Roguelike Open World Chess

You start with a single piece (White King) and it functions exactly like the king piece in chess. The map has FOW that gets revealed as you move your pieces. The "starting area" has you go up against pawns that when taken have a chance to drop pieces of themselves that can be cleansed to make White versions of those pieces (all pieces will be obtained this way) As you get more kills with pieces you start to unlock various expanded abilities. King can move X spaces, move more than one piece per turn, pawns can now move one space to the side, Rooks can move through X enemies, Queen can teleport to any space within X range, etc. Boss pieces like a giant rook that takes up 5 spaces and has health bar that you chip away at by sacrificing pieces for damage. Special enemies that also have upgraded abilities. Environmental hazards that require specific pieces or abilities to get passed. Special tricks that can be done in regular chess can still be done like getting a pawn to the enemies back lines gets you a previously defeated queen with all her original upgrades or castling but can be upgraded to be done with more pieces and over longer distances. The game ends when you either defeat a boss version of the King or your king dies. Consecutive runs allow you to start with meta upgrades to ease early progression and enhance specific pieces.

It's not a game at all, you get one free gem each day which you can use to gamble for a JPEG image of a random anime girl that is added to your collection. And you also have the option to buy more gems at any time you like, or you can just wait until tomorrow to get another free gem. There are millions of JPEGs to collect and some of them are so rare you need to spin roughly 1 million times to get them, these are the "epic rare" anime girls. There's no game or gameplay, the only two screens are the gambling screen and the collection of images screen, but you can also share your collection with your friends and the internet so they can see how many pictures you unlocked. All the anime pictures are also ai generated so I don't have to draw anything. Lol.
