Why do you constantly feel the need to shill this dogshit game here?
Why do you constantly feel the need to shill this dogshit game here?
I look like this and say this.
Not on Switch
Not an overpriced $90 game
Ugly photorealism slop
It competes with final fantasy 7 rebirth
t. FFtranny
beachball minigame
The only flaw is the black NPCs in the prologue. Just because they look bad but the lore at least allows their existence. Otherwise it's flawless.
Your failed abortion.
The combat is too basic. The entire game is predominantly skewed to the paper Mario damage dodge mechanic which leaves the actual RPG part over simplified, a few enemies and bosses notwithstanding
parrying makes my finger hurt
its a solid 8/10 game. The gameplay is great, music is wonderful, good enemy variety. Really the only think preventing this game from being 9/10 or even 10/10 is just the story, I think it could have been told better. But overall its a great experience
photorealism
I don't think you know what this word means.
After removing the dmg cap the game becomes really chaotic and unbalanced.
I oneshoted Simon without even trying to.
BUY AN AD.
which leaves the actual RPG part over simplified
Not the game's fault you are too brainlet to cook up your own Pictos combos.
You literally have s godlike entity in your team
NOOOOOO YOU CAN'T DO BROKEN DMG REEEEE
Same kind of people would complain over the boss joining the party being nerfed btw.
Balance goes to shit after Paintress
Pacing is a bit uneven overall
No minimap. Make it optional, give me a toggle, I don't give a shit. I missed so many things and had to go back through maps checking my compass and remembering which way I entered from. Just give me a minimap.
Also picto presets would be nice for easy switching between solo and group fights, or superbosses.
Everyone is a godlike entity after removing the dmg cap.
Missable collectables in the intro
No retry option when defeated
No ingame tracker for bosses
Act 3 should be higher level to encourage a bit of exploring
uuummm nu-uh: the thread
Bait used to be entertaining
No job system
No bikinis
No female character gropes another female character scene
Very boring
Why are you insulting your own race saar?
game balance after you get painted power
story twist
It's lazy because they can just skip worldbuilding completely. You can't even immerse yourself in the world because you know nothing is real and nothing really matters. What do they eat? What is Lumiere's tax rate? What are the world bounds? None of that is relevant. The story was still good but the whole twist felt like lazy writing.
gameplay progression
It was all over the place. First they had to artiticially bottleneck you so you don't one shot everything. Then you get the paintress pico and if you dare to explore anything - mind you the game tells you to do side content to become stronger - then you will simply one shot everything in the main story. Not only that but if you actually have 80+ iq and use luminas then you will also one shot the strongest boss in the game. I know balance is not important in single player games and I'm all for letting players break the game however you actually have to go out of your way to NOT break the game.
There, 2 flaws. Still a good game.
Yeah thanks Gustave for that. Painted Power was a Pictos unlocked from Maelle/Alicia. Gustave Lumina Converter made the godlike power available to everyone.
It's too good and too short, i wish it was longer honestly, like they could've used some of the side dungeons and side quests as main quests
Hopefully we get a dlc
Lune's foot is not currently inside my mouth
it's the journoshitters favorite pick of the month, ez pz
Clea isn't real
You literally need it to beat every post-game enemy in a reasonable time frame.
Maelle needs more costumes. I want her to bear her scars, and get the duds and mask of her painted self
no escapism is bad!!
plays vidya, watches anime, jerks off to porn, and shitposts while doing nothing to improve themselves or working towards any goal
no you can't die in that canvas because it's verso's!! make your own!!
never makes his own vidya, never animates, jerks off to a waifu made by someone else, never made a single song
no journal to track quests
no minimap on levels (mainly only an issue due to the "Golden Path" design the levels employ)
Act 3 is pretty unbalanced, especially with no clear progression path for how you should approach it
Game balance in general should be touched up, maybe a higher difficulty with some softcaps that doesn't let you instanuke fights. Also fix the bug on "First Strike+Cheater" that gives you the first 6 turns in a row.
Still a solid 9/10, and the best JRPG of all time, excluding Souls obviously (low bar because JRPG is a dogshit genre)
Sciel is not sitting on my face with her fat ass
Only real issue is you have to really try to not end up breaking the game once act 3 rolls around. Didn't even do any act 3 side quests and accidently one-shot the final bosswhen i got to it. I have no idea what any of his attacks are.
dogshit gameplay
You did not play the game.
Incredible' is a word that I think is more accurately defined by this game rather than it being used as an adjective for this game. As in this game describes what the word "incredible" means and not the other way around. The music, artstyle and animations are a form of beauty I wouldn't be able to conceptualise myself until now. Just running around and fighting almost brought emotions out of me I thought were well rusted over at this point, and sometimes after a fight I let the combat music play for a bit before continuing on like I never heard music in a game before.
Qte turn based combat isn't fun. The empty levels aren't interesting to walk through. Get better taste
You are Dalek
I am Barack
Its ugly. The combat is boring. The writing is cliche melodrama. The world isnt interesting to explore
I oneshoted Simon without even trying to.
You looked up weapon recommendations and used Medalum, a weapon which was factually bugged.
It's not a good game
You do get Alicia's outfit and hairstyle. Not the mask, though.
It's ugl-AACCKK
Bro, she's french, probably eats a lot of butter and cheese. It'd be stinky.
stop, I can only get so erect
Parry slop
What is this shitty filter called again? Chromatic aberration? Looks like ass.
No minimap makes you check out every corner of a map and jump everywhere which is a bit a waste of time. There's so much hidden loot and content that a map wouldve been going ne to save some time.
I also didn't like some of the balancing. Why give us access to places early (first time esquie, and when you get swim) which are not doable at all. I spent so much time when getting swimming trying to discover all new places only to be able to do maybe 10% of them as they're clearly meant for act 3. I think the optional stuff should've been balanced so you could do it during the playthrough, not keep everything for act 3 as the Devs clearly meant with the difficulty spikes. Why have access to all these places/bosses when they're clearly meant for lvl 50-60+
Clocked em unc
It causes indians and trannies to be more active on our board due to them seething and dilating in every good e33 thread
True and real. Heavily autistic people like you and me can only play anime games with genshin like graphics because we lack the social awareness to pick up on facial queues. We also hate change so all those years we spent consuming persona slop and roleplaying as a teenager was a jarring experie and when the story was more dark and gritty rather than surface deep bad guy is bad. I'm with you autism bro
okay? doesn't change the fact that it's the point any semblance of balance is flushed down the toilet
concept of esquie saving sciel?
Honestly I don't like QTEs and shit in my turn based game. Reminds me of this shit.
Find a flaw.
the story is stupid and full of contrivance, the ending is shit, the characters are paper thin, the themes are lame.
FFTA did it better
Why don't lune and sciel act more shocked when Alicia ressurects them? Id be like wtf im an in-game character? And have a black mirror like cookie crashout. Verso obviously already spent 100 years knowing he's fake.
is this a pasta
It's my Steam review of the game.
Everything about it is mediocre. The combat, the characters, the artstyle, the level design. It"s an aggressively average game
Would you really? If that really happened to you? Your life is still real to you
Find a flaw.
The French.
Based
Yeah since my life is fake and the real life is outside. Cogito ergo sum and everything but I'd Def react harder than lune and sciel
messy looking menu
at times janky movement, getting stuck on terrain too
6 slots limits character actions
status effects, buffs and debuffs seem rarely relevant/useful aside from burn and powerful
no minimaps or otherwise too few landmarks within zones to make areas navigate better, too much looks the same
no character names attached in shops for weapons
lot of character interaction doesn't flow through the story but is always in camp
Great game but let's not pretend nothing can be improved
You looked up weapon recommendations
False
which was factually bugged
I oneshot him after the patch
either you are fake or you are finding out that the 16 y/o redhead has the power of god
either way it warranted a bigger reaction
It's not fun to play
t. coldsteel enjoyer
doesn't run well on my pc
Just 2 things
I would like some sort of mini map. I know they want to encourage exploration and looking at the screen, but if you have branching paths that don't make themselves clear as to whether they're the main path or not, you'll have people coming back and forth hesitating to proceed further
Also they needed better pacing/balance for act 3. The choice to either go straight to the ending or go do every side mission first is a poor one; as you end up losing something along the way. Do the ending first, and you'll not only miss out on CRITICAL side content (alicia's dungeon, simon, etc) but you'll also feel like the story was already over regardless. It loses momentum. On the other hand, if you do all the sidequests first, you'll end up one shotting the final dungeon and the final boss
Still an exceptional game
im on a pretty "mid" pc and it runs great performance wise, there are crashes sometimes but at this point i just think UE5 have those hard coded
3060TI and a 5600x
This game literally uses a pajeet marketing company.
They're NPCs, I don't know how much you can expect from them.
should have made a few of the optional areas of act 3 mandatory
the reacher for example
we should check if painted alicia can help us before we go against renoir!
apply that to a couple of the side dungeons and you could bake a better balance.
Im happy i did all the optional shit before the endings, i probably would have lost all drive to go do the optional shit once the stakes were resolved so for me one shotting all the shit on lumiere was the lesser evil
I remember before the game came out a webm of gustave and lune arguing and gustave rolling his eyes at some point. Was this cut from the game? I don't remember it happening anywhere
did anyone else notice that the black kid was LITERALLY added at the last moment
he barely interacts with anyone and in some scenes looks like he has a different poly count or is rendered differently
its like "oh there are Gustave's 2 apprentices! oh and also the black one who just stands silent in the corner"
Anon is right, I didn't need to look anything up, was lvl 57 and I one shot the last boss with a counter. It did something retarded like 320k damage.
OP can you please include either "Expedition" or "33" in your thread next time so my filters work? Thanks
1. You basically abandon 1-2 characters for the majority of the game, there should be a swap mechanic.
2. Act 3 has both post-game and story content in it, players don't know how weak the last story bosses are
3. Dodging is shit, parrying is only slightly harder and way more rewarding.
4. Some mobs have annoyingly deceptive telegraphs
You oneshot a 40+ million health boss with a 320k damage counter?
Sure thing.
he probably meant renoir in lumiere, not simon
oh. well he still has like 2 bars of 1 million each I think
Doesn't help that the dungeons/places you visit are huge and everything looks mostly the same inside it. They try to add landmarks every now and then but it barely helps. There were dungeons were I was passing the same place over and over again in a loop because I didn't know where I was.
2. Act 3 has both post-game and story content in it, players don't know how weak the last story bosses are
yeah I went around doing a lot of the optional stuff and when I came back for the final boss I basically 1-shot with gommage
thankfully there's a super charged version at the top of the endless tower trials. Took me 4 full-powered gommages
the menu UI is terrible, especially for picto and lumina selection. I can barely tell what I'm selecting/highlighting. They put style over readability. In combat its fine though.
it warrants any reaction, not just "oh okay let's go beat renoir"
Parry system incentivizes a glass cannon approach, which is rewarded by tons of damage multiplier luminas. This leads to an early damage cap, which results in the player optimizing for skills that hit as many times as possible early into act 2. As a result literally every fight falls over before the enemies get to even act for a majority of the game.
too much fog
My biggest flaw so far (haven't finished, beat one axon at this point) is that the combat systems can be at odds with another. The game has great character and party building, I'm having a blast just sitting in the menu tweaking my characters. The problem is a find that a lot of that doesn't matter until I can reliably parry or dodge the entire since damage is so high and you get some much AP on defense. So in turn I learn the parry timings of a boss and now all the effort I put into party building feels somewhat diminished since I can now go through a fight without taking any damage and dealing so much damage on counter.
that might just be a graphics setting, I don't remember there being much fog at all
Lumina system was too OP, some of the damage boosting ones really should have been locked behind optional endgame content.
Parry will become meaningless once you start 1shotting every enemy
It should have been dodges/parries reduce damage, not nulify it. Taking 100% or 0% damage is too much of a swing in either direction.
The overworld is retarded bright and if i fuck with the brightness at all places like old lumiere are almost pitch black
The fanbase. I liked this game until I saw what fucking crazy mofos it's fanbase are.
I find myself completely uninterested. From the little I've seen it seems like an over styled mess meant to stimulate children with flashy colors and animations. It seems like an rpg people on here might discuss high end performance issues instead of it's story and content. The characters I've seen seem bland and uninteresting in design. I could be wrong the game is doing well... but I'm old and it just doesn't interest me in the least.
Fanbases are always the worst part of any one thing, probably because people who consider themselves "fans" of whatever it is are mentally ill
The balancing of the game completely falls apart in the third act when the 9999 damage cap goes away. Even earlier if you pick the optimal pictos, weapons and character skills.
The game doesn't warn you that you'll ruin the ending for yourself if you go out and do all the optional content before finishing the game.
Reasons not related to the game itself
i only found how to remove all the fog after having finished the game
the difference is night and day
wish i had played it without volumetric fog since the start
In act 3, if you explore around instead of going to the finale, you overlevel and make the final boss anticlimactic. The final boss should adapt to your level.
What's that fog?
I played the game twice and never seen fog anywhere, including the area of your image
once you just give up on the idea of healing, Maelle can be built into an absolute monster
describe the plot of Expedition 33
My only healing was Noboko putting shell on everyone which also healed a little and put powerful on them so they'd one shot everything, but even that buffing I think was unecessary
i dont know just the volumetric fog of the game
i mean its a particularly shitty place for fog but you can't tell me you didnt notice volumetric fog every fucking where in the game
fuck if you still have it installed go and take a screenshot, would love to see how it looks on your end
Mine was on med/high settings
the best sword also cuts the framerate in half after using it for 4-5 battles. where's the patch?
yeah wouldn't mind a performance patch
maybe fix some random crashes and a few other issues
Why haven't e33 threads been moved to the general board yet? Its literally dozens of threads a day shitting up the catalog
It's a cultural phenomenon. A generational game that changed the medium forever.
I'm constantly seeing threads about this game made in provocative manner which shapes my mind in a negative direction, despite not playing it or having a slight interest in consuming said product. Maybe you guys should be less pushy.
By Act III, expeditions, Gustave, Lumiere etc. essentially don't matter and the whole story is purely focused on Maelle vs Renoir/Verso and it really feels like the writing was juggling a lot of ideas but they couldn't make it work properly.
Because the game is freshly out?
How did you remove it?. Because the graphic setting didnt have a Fog on/off toggle
Dogshit game for normalfags
Normies hate it.
its too sad
Do you want to talk about something else or do you just want to destroy assuming someone else is going to create after?
Honest question:
Do you think Gustave would have found some middle ground if he survived?
go to %LOCALAPPDATA%SandfallSavedConfigWindows
it should have your usersetting.ini
create a new file
"Engine.ini"
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.fog=0
r.VolumetricFog=0
Thats all, then set the file to "read only".
the first line removes all fog, the second line removes only volumetric fog so pick one or the other, i personally just removed the volumetric in case some area is supposed to be foggy.
I did it once i had finished the game and maybe removing it all was overdoing it. Maybe there is a sweet spot at 0.5 or whatever but i just couldn't be arsed since i was done. I just know i hated the fog during the whole game and was happy to see it gone
This
That is what that appears to be.
I wish the endings weren't so black and white. That's the only thing that legitimately annoys me in this game.
I was pro-Alicia all this time and then the game told me my argumentation was wrong and I was an evil person. Fuck you, game, you don't know me.
1. the story pacing is fucking awful
act 1 (learn nothing)
act 2 (learn nothing)
between act 2 and act 3 (massive story and exposition dump)
act 3 (walk to boss and end game)
they couldn't have added any exposition during act 1? or have us learn some stuff from (or despite) verso during act 2?
2. characters have minimal synergy
each character is their own little minigame (stances vs stains vs build-and-spend-gustave vs yet-another-build-and-spend-sciel vs devil-may-cry vs blue-mage), and there is minimal synergy between them
yes you can focus on status effects like "burn" across the characters but that is the extent of it - their mechanics are entirely self contained
3. eventually, every fight becomes the same
every fight eventually devolves into the same pattern - dying repeatedly until you memorize the boss's attack patterns and can dodge/parry every attack and can beat the boss without getting hit (either that or one-shotting the boss with some absurd combo)
4. the "game" is not optimized at all
i say "game" when it is really unreal engine but still - the game runs like dogshit, and after an hour or so it will start slowing down and the sound will start lagging/popping
these flaws are ultimately trivial, and i think the game is fantastic - but they are still flaws
middle ground as in being able to convince verso or maelle to do some compromises?
unlikely
Maelle might be ready to concede some shit but the canvas is tied to that sliver of real verso soul on it and painted verso wasn't gonna give up on that.
Maybe maelle promising to repaint this lumiere on a different canvas but she is probably not skilled enough, it wouldn't be the same, theseus ship, teleporter paradox etc
FFXIII for normaltards
i wanted a turn based game not an action game masquerading as a turn based game
the lore crumbs and clues you get before the reveal after the paintress with alicia's letter weren't enough i agree
i knew Verso and renoir weren't real, in my head they were Nevron V2 created by the paintress but Verso was rogue or some shit. Renoir being the terminator sent to kill maelle and verso being arnold's terminator protecting her maybe.
Maybe smarter people than me had everything clued in but i wish i had been given more information before the big reveal.
i think the game is fantastic - but they are still flaws
most of the flaws people are posting are legitimate grievances from people that enjoyed the game
Check the game's credits bro...
act 3 kinda feels like a massive step backwards writing-wise compared to 2. the final dungeon of act 2 was maybe my favorite in jrpg history but nothing in act 3 has really impressed me yet. it kinda feels like fanfic
Not having the option to buy entire stacks of items in 2025.
Damage scaling is poorly paced. By act 3 if you have painter power on you shred enemies in seconds. But if you don't have it on they're pointlessly tanky. Neither form of fight has any entertainment value.
I actually started figuring out the twist midway through Act II so i think if they gave out more, it would be too obvious. Basically just before fighting the Paintress i already figured out that "this world is probably not real and there happened a tragedy with the fire in Verso's family and that Maelle is somehow related to them".
All outsourcing was done to Koreans. CE is anti-jeet.
Find a flaw
It's an Isekai
Not having the option to buy entire stacks of items in 2025.
oh yeah this too, i'm out of resplendent chroma and i wanted to level up some of my mid weapons to fuck around with in act 3 but all the dungeons just give out grandiose ones now
i have complained about the amount of chroma you get in other threads too
how it was weird that having killed eveyrthing in the world map at least once and killing everything in the dungeons (albeit not really grinding) and i was still about 2m short on chroma if i wanted to buy all weapons and pictos (or upgrades to weapons and pictos) from the merchants.
Ended up not being able to buy out the merchant in Renoir's drafts, Flying Manor, and Endless night sanctuary.
Almost 2m chroma....
I wish the endings weren't so black and white
What? both endings are gray as fuck, in one the family finally moves on...at the price of a whole world of sentient beings and the other and world survives but only until Alice dies and also both verson (kid and painted) are effectively slaves. Both have their positives and negatives, neither is "good" or "bad", it depends of how YOU feel.
Depends what you mean by "Act 3". The only important thing to do is the Maelle optional quest, and then the final boss/ending. I think the writing was great for both these sequences.
Combat pretends to have some active element by doing nothing more than making you mash a single button at the same time every time to sell a faux-skill element.
The overworld is tedious to navigate
Terrible lip syncing
Monotonous endgame content that is not desirable to finish on a narrative or entertainment level
Awful mini game designs
Bare bones social interactions to try and disguise this game has role play elements (it doesn't)
The game only has five tracks which they play over and over and over again
The end of act two reveal was legit badly written and brought the entire narrative down.
Zero stakes after act2 as the story exists in an entirely made up world and any character can be brought back to life with a snap of the fingers
Romance options limited to 2 post wall roasties
Confused messages which seems to want to say that living in a fantasy world to deal with trauma is bad yet not doing so is just as miserable. Also thank you for spending time in the fantasy world we created? Which flavour of our two nihilistic endings did you find the least miserable?
Romance options limited to 2 post wall roasties
Sciel is kinda hot (but she's a bitch that cucks you) and Lune is cute tho, asians don't age until they're 60
lune has her disgusting feet out all game and if you run as her they are right up in your face
Parry and dodge makes every other system in the game secondary and have much less importance. Every area has mediocre level design and confusing/ugly art design aside from a few. (world map exempt from this)
Tragic music is heavy handed in some scenes and it makes it a bit too cheesy.
Act 3 is a complete clusterfuck for obvious reasons. Should have put a limit to lumina and damage, entirely fucked balance, more than any jrpg I've ever played (more than FF8)
7/10 game tho, it's decent
Anon Babble obsesses over yet another turn-based piece of shit
Between this and Baldur's Gayte, this board has practically admitted to being nothing but shitters who suck at actual video-games, and are attracted to extremely gay shit that they somehow trick themselves into thinking it's not woke.
cultural phenomenon
I’ve asked real life people about it who’ve never even heard of it
Pic
Holy kek. I know it just puts in whatever you entered your name as, but what game is this from?
I have a feeling that the game REALLY wants you to pick the Verso ending, even though at this point I legitimately disagreed with the thesis the game was putting forward. Because, no, I legit do not believe this family can get their shit together and by siding with Verso I would be sacrificing the whole painted world and sentencing one traumatized girl that was a victim in all of this for a life in constant misery.
So, I went with Maelle's ending... and the game went out of its way to convince me I was making the wrong choice. I hate when games do that.
turn-cringe combat
nta but you might be trans
verso's ending like Marche-posting, is male-brained
Maelle's ending, like that cripple Mewt, is female-brained
You looked up weapon recommendations and used Medalum
Not him but I used Brulerum for Maelle. And I was focusing on Verso my main damage doing freeshots and Angel Eyes over and over.
It wasn't until I adjusted my build to give me even MORE Gradient that I had enough Gradient to not only do Angel Eyes with Verso, but also generate enough Gradient afterwards for Maelle to get 3/3 Gradient as well.
This was unironically the second time I ever used Gonmage. The first time I did it was against some random mob and it only did a few million damage then. But this time it somehow did 67M and I have no idea why it dealt like over 10x the damage of the first time I used the move. That was not what I expected at all.
I didn't even know you could skip phase3.
The Gestral beaches. The volleyball one in particular can go to hell.
What the fuck you can Gommage him at that high health?
the gameplay is boring
As I said. I absolutely wasn't expecting the move to kill him. Not by a long shot.
And you can see me hesitate and stop to think before I pass 5AP and it's because I typically did Burning Canvas. Then I hesitate again at 1AP since I wondered if I shouldn't just do Last Chance to refill AP and maintain Virtuous for the next turn. But I decide to just go for Gommage since I figured I'd just be wasting my Gradient Charge if I didn't actually deplete it with my rank3 Gradient Attacks.
Then it did way, way more damage than I expected somehow.
Yeah, he would've been able to convince her to temporarily leave while they try to find a solution inside or outside of the painting to preserve Lumiere. Maybe there is no solution but I think she would've listened at least and it would've given her a new purpose
The story is the biggest flaw in this game imo. I could suffer the JRPG combat but I play RPGs for the story and this one has an awful, unenjoyable terajerker of a tragedy attached to it. I'd rather masturbate with a cheese grater than play a second of E33 thank you very much
I just stacked every damage picto on Maele and used the double damage Sciel move on her and she did 60 mil with one Stendahl, one shotting both phases. It was kinda funny and cheesy but fuck any boss that auto wipes your main party out anyway
I can't for a second believe that Gustave would have allowed Maelle to live out her whole life in the Canvas if he had the full context.
I really wonder how the damage calculation on that skill works
I personally, and unironically, think it would have been cool and great fun if Simon was damage-gated at the start of his phase 3. So that he would always do the expedition-deletion every fight.
Charlie Cox’s performance was phoned in.
Yeah, I said it.
I want stinky lune feet on my face bros what an asian goddess
Maelle isn't real
i want golgra to use me as a footrest
i did one shoot him and legit felt like i cheated myself afterwards
went back a save and ended up beating him "normally"
Since 3 of my chars were way stronger than the other 2 (level 90 to 85 and 300 lumina to 120) i went with 1 real character and the 2 dummies for p1 and p2 and then 2 real characters for the p3
still took me a few hours
I honestly hate the gameplay and the story gets progressively more retarded for me. Glorified QTEs in a 3 niggas in a row game and constant "achtually" reveals got tiresome pretty fucking quick. Another flaw is that it's being shilled to hell by paid pajeets and that's pretty exhausting. I got to act 3 and have no intention of finishing it.
The dialogue feels like netflix slop until the latter half of act 3
Parrying really invalidates everything, the battle system with all of its effects and quirks would be more fun if you couldn’t just spam the same routines and parrying
The shitty netflix show dialogue really sucks, that and the ue5 slop look dont pair well together, still goty unless death stranding 2 really isnt a fedex sim still
Clea spoilers
Jennifer English mogged twice in a row character and performance vice by Devora Wilde
I unironically would feel less ashamed in admitting in being a poojeet than admitting to liking an unreal slop game written by faggots and a woman.
I think the writing took a downturn in the latter half. Although to be fair it is tradition in JRPG games for them to do this kind of metaworld twist. You always end up fighting your god, to some degree
But thats the thing though, this game does the reverse. JRPG games start off small then lead to fighting god. With this game your expedition sets off with the intent to fight god right off the bat, then ends with having to deal with family squabbles.
Cope, Abdul
whiter than you, chang.
Maybe it's because everything was autoset to low, I never saw any fog anywhere
My 3060 is not exactly high end
story is good but terribly told
overworld exploration is tedious
two of the five companions are disposable trash with no personality
balancing goes out the window once you get to act 3
having said that it's like a 9/10 in my books and probably by goty
