Anon Babble is full of escapism fags that have family issues.
Theyre literally Maelle
70% of Anon Babble user base is brown. Traditional western values are just unappealing to them. Especially ones that are about the importance of grief and family.
You need to recall that in the third world, they let their own family corpses rot on the roads and nobody cares to even burry them.
brainlets, mostly. that description fits me to a tee but i still chose verso because it's the right decision and i'm not maelle. if i was in her shoes myself IRL i'd 100% choose to live in a fake reality too. but i'm not, so it's easy to make the correct choice that was the most healthy for real living people.

regardless of your take on his actions, he did nothing wrong with his Anon Babbleshion. the man is a living balenciaga AI meme right down to having a random exotic cat spirit animal.
The majority of the people side with Renoir, the ones that side with Maelle are the same anime tranny faggots that latch onto manchild tendencies, so it's no wonder they would rather remain on a dream. It shows their lack of masculinity.
Your stance on Renoir is simply a test on your relationship with your family and also your age and emotional development.

Both Renoir were based. I wish we could save them both.
Nah, brown people actually have some strong family values.
Maelleposting and hating on Renoir goes up during American hours, because they just hate their families.
Soo the entirety of Anon Babble?
He was literally right. He's the most correct character in the game.

Schizo.
Because he's quoting no one, it's a spambot thread. sage
"Escapism" did not factor into my final decision. This nonsensical view is only sustainable if you distill the entirety of the story into Act 2's climax and what little left of the game remains in Act 3. At the expense of everything else. Which most of you have a proclivity towards due to lack of object permanence.
japslop invented old white men
You haven't seen Maelle apologist calling him toxic and how he doesn't understand his daughter and how he shouldn't have "wasted his time trying to get Aline out if the canvas"
Nigger youre giving yourself schizophrenia because people are talking about a game.
You're an NPC breaking down, practically repeating the exact same pattern of mental degradation as the other schizos here while thinking your clever when your actually a retard that fails at actually gauging patterns.
tfw I chose Maelle's ending because I thought if I chose Verso there legitimately wouldnt be a post-game
How can they expect me to think about the story and right and wrong when there are still bosses I haven't beat
I'm not horribly disfigured so it's easy for me to tell her how to life
You faggots ever listen what you are saying?
Or you can just see both his and Verso's point, realize Alicia (who is not actually Maelle anymore) is being a selfish cunt and put an end to everything.
The story throws you a huge curveball and asks you to work with new information, and said information simply tells you Alicia is the wrong choice.
Then you have her ending which is as much of a downer as it gets.
I dressed like him on the left for my lecture and people started making fun of me. Fuck this shit, how is that outfit not cool as fuck
horribly disfigured
Shame it was never about that and only about her crushing guilt for being responsible for Verso's death so she'd rather stay in a world she can gaslight herself into thinking he's alive.
I JUST WANTED TO LIVE OUR LIFETIMES TOGETHER
sums up her whole ending philosophy.
After 100%ing the postgame content it's clear that the Maelle ending is the good one, the "bad ending" vibe in Maelle's epliogue cinematic is a red herring to make you believe you made the wrong choice.
These posts are not organic.
it's all about the fit and how the person wears it. you probably just looked like a dork wearing your dad's old suit or something. not just anyone has the gravitas to pull off the pierce brosnan look.

It's been mentioned many times, but the ending is a litmus test. If you choose the bad endings, chances are overwhelmingly likely that you're a zoomer still rebelling against parents or an adult whose dad left and never came back (aka brown).
it is not selfish to torture the fake brother you supposedly love
it is not selfish to enslave his soul for the same of your fantasy life
it is not selfish to play god
it is not selfish to slowly kill yourself while destroying your family in the process
Yep, a paragon of virtue I tell you.
I'm a weeb and I side with Renoir though, I might have sided with Maelle if the painted people were anime. Western paintings are Soulless so it was an easy decision to kill them
genocide
two humans
Come on, show a single part of BOTH ending versions where she talks about her body.
She mentions it once as an excuse for her verso obsession, never else.
Even as she "dies" she never says she doesn't want to go back to her body.
I dressed like him on the left for my lecture and people started making fun of me.
Painted Verso used to believe that despite everything, all the Lumerians deserved to live until he got mindbroken by his girlfriend and other expeditioners torturing him because they thought he was a traitor
Verso's soul also believes that everything inside the canvas is "just as alive" as the outside world, so either he believes that just his soul is enough to make the world real, or the outside world is just as "fake" (painting inside a painting)
I hate both of my parents and have called them by their first names like Clea does since I was a young child and I picked the Verso ending and Renoir was right.
used to believe
And he stopped because it's killing his family.
that everything inside the canvas is "just as alive" as the outside world,
He's a kid, the same kid that painted his plushie as the strongest being in the world and who also wants to stop because he's miserable.
tells you Alicia is the wrong choice.
It told me no such thing. It told me that Maelle is capable of making her own decisions and her will is her own. And that there are consequences for remaining in the canvas, as there are also consequences for leaving it. It is at my individual discretion what I choose to prioritize and sacrifice.
My decision factored in the illogical nature of invalidating my entire journey to save the denizens of Lumiere merely to resolve family drama. The patriarch of which being the progenitor of the Gommage and the reason for my journey from the start. It simply was never going to happen: muh grief vs muh escapism notwithstanding.
You talk like a retarded redditor
I accept your concession, midwit.
I'm not the guy you were talking to
Both endings suck and are only changing things for Verso and Maellicia. The end result was decided at the end of act 2. Maelle can't restore Lumiere in any meaningful way, she doesn't have the skill and the chroma will be too impure to return anyone else, also she cant restore people she didn't know as far as we can tell. Lumiere is already dead, so you're not deciding whether or not to save the Lumiere, you're deciding whether Maelle lives a life as a god with human shaped play things in a canvas or lives a life as a miserable disfigured burn victim outside of the canvas. For the final destruction of the canvas, Maelle's ending just kicks the can down the road. Verso doomed the whole canvas by being a suicidal lying piece of shit.
I-I know it's time for my performance, j-just let me finish this post, Alicia - I mean M-Maelle...
let Maelle paint the lumierien back and spend a bit of time with them.
kill painted Verso since he is asking for it
eventually tell Maelle to leave, and hand over the canvas to some other painter familly or something like that
only allow Maelle and Alicia to occasionally come back to it, like a few hours a week.
In the canvas it's still equivalent to Maelle visiting Gustave & co once a year or so
Easy way to solve everyone's problem.

NOOOO, the women in Dessendre's family are too retarded and can't have self-control. You HAVE to destroy the Canvas because it's the only right way-
they let their own family corpses rot on the roads and nobody cares to even burry them.
very dramatic retard-kun
Here are the big changes Shestov outlined coming from Rogue Trader: Reworked cover system. Reworked line of sight. New character abilities and attributes added, with some old ones removed. Removal of Rogue Trader's momentum system. The addition of a morale system. "Any unit can lose their grip in combat, start to panic, even shooting their own [teammates] or fleeing from combat," Shestov said. "We decided that when you're playing as Inquisitor, you need to frighten your opponent. So you've got an option to not just kill everyone or talk.
It's going to be broken and completely unplayable at the release, isn't it?

I still see enough rich boomers dressed like that when it's not hot out when they're going out to dinner or church. It's just a tailored well-made suit with an overcoat.
but my post is legit.
Legit bullshit.
how does time flow in the real world compared to the canvas?
renoir said he spent 67 years below the monolith, maelle grew up there 16 years.
Painted Renoir mogs real Renoir
mogs his outfit
cool scar
doesn't say anything, just casually murders your entire team and your main character
is only saving his family so he did literally nothing wrong
paint fills her fake eye
She will never outrun reality.
Literally, Alicia wouldn't even kill verso
It was a thing before the WW2. Boomers think it's lame while dressing up as hippies and getting high and hate their parents
It's diluted enough that the manor hasn't finished rebuilding from the fire by the time Alicia hops in, which would be 50/51 years after the fracture in the canvas. But not too diluted because Clea is obviously frustrated at her parents' lack of progress and has to intervene herself in order to tip the balance.
It's not stated directly in game, but I'm personally going to assume a ratio close to one day in the real world equalling one year in the canvas. The issue is that when you're in the canvas you still experience the flow of time from the canvas' frame of reference, so Renoir experiences those 67 years even if it's just a couple months in the real world.
I'LL SAVE YOU MY IMMORTAL FAMILY
wife goes into fantasy land
fucks a perfect copy of you for 67 years
what a cuck
this reminds me of a really old Anon Babble infographic about how you're not an anime character
do the painters have to intricately design tits and vags and cocks and balls of everyone they make
like a few hours a week
if time in the painting moves a million times faster than time outside then very quickly her little playthings are either going to die or she makes them immortal and they go insane
also an hour could translated into like a year for all we know- 67 years was like what, a week?
he doesn't real /par/
There's no canon time dillatation ratio so it's up to interpretation.
her little playthings are either going to die
That's the point yes.
You forgot the movie adaptation announced before the game even launched, and I'm not sure why you keep tying it to Snoy, it's multiplat. If anything Microsoft have more to do with the game than sony due to it being day one game pass and it being featured last year during an xbox showcase.
anime moeblob is soulless escapist slop aping old disney, badly.
Anon american whites have some of the worst family dynamics out there, browns actually care about family
Prove it
Alicia and Aline. Maelle is, for all intents and purposes, dead from the end of act 2. What you have moving forward is Alicia with a fixed face and throat (which was foreshadowed in the real world segment at the start of act 3) who carries with her Maelle's memories.
I think it was kind of a dick move to make an elaborate painted monstrosity inspired by his dead son that characterizes him as a liar and then make his artificial painted son with all of his dead son's memories see it so he realized just how poorly Renoir saw him.
Yeah but she decides to call herself Maelle, and as long as she's in the canvas she's a god so who am I to contradict her.
her little playthings are either going to die
To be fair, we don't know this to be a fact. Every death we know has never been of natural causes. Even Sciel's husband, who didn't die from being gommaged, died in an accident.
This doesn't solve that Verso's soul doesn't wanna paint anymore.
And what is that boy going to do? He will paint.
And what is that boy going to do
Nothing, which would probably lead to the destruction of the painting and itself. Honestly that's a good end. It's an affront to the afterlife that painters can squirrel away fragments of their souls in paintings like a fucking lich without the benefits.
sasuga rajeesh patel, 200 rupee bonas for yu saar
american Whites evict their children when they turn 18 or whenever there's an inconvenience. Only Whites that actually love their family are meds.
Verso ending only sucks if you think it's fine to cope in a fake reality instead of the family coming together and dealing with the trauma of a son and brother's death in a human way.
I know you're mainly shitposting but the whole retirement home thing was a huge culture shock to me.
is only saving his family so he did literally nothing wrong
Saving everyone in lumiere too unlike the expedition mogs.
Redheaded fencer who wants to stay in a fake reality to avoid her real life ostracizing
Hmmm
She's ostracized in the fake reality too.
Maellefags are children OP
He murdered millions
Then again being bullied for white hair isn't quite as bad as having half your face melted off
Nah more like a few hundred
Like 10 thousand if you count all the previous gommages
She was still a redhead when she told Verso she fucked off to the expeditions because outside of Gustave and Emma she felt ostracized though.
There's a few hundred expeditioner corpses at the fallen batllefield alone. High thousands at minimum left.
Fast and Furious
I'm obviously calling her a Ritz ripoff nigga
Every Lumierian that died on an expedition can be counted in his death count because he caused the fracture and the gommage they wanted to stop.. And we see literal mountains of corpses on the continent.
It's also 67 years of gommaging.
It's probably like 5 years = 1 day
He murdered millions
of illegals. I'm pretty sure in America that's a good thing.
How can they be illegals when the owner of the canvas created them.
Aline isn't the owner of the canvas.
Verso didn't create the humans, Aline did
A dead man has no ownership.
His ownership transferred when he died.
Reminds them of their actual dads who said turn off the computer and get a job.
That's not how that shit works though. That's why you have wills and testaments.
real verso likes the lumerians btw
they have his soul despite being painted by aline
Stop, invincible son.
strong father figure
inferior to his wife
needed to be saved by her
married into her family
wealth was built off her abilities
will destroy his son's painting because he can't control his wife
LOL
Even if you don't have a will you still lose ownership after you die. It just usually goes to the nearest living relative.
Considering the canvas is in her house, one has to assume she and Renoir has ownership over it.
If I jerked off your dead corpse and put the semen into an aboriginal woman and the kid born from it went on to kill all white people would you love that kid?
real verso likes the lumerians btw
It's both ways, actually. Verso's soul likes the people of Lumiere and likes all creatures and it, being a fraction of Verso's soul, is close enough to the real thing. Likewise painted Verso is, as Renoir called it, Aline's finest work, which means he functions every bit as the real Verso would, right down to sacrificing himself (and unfortunately condemning the painting) to save his family.
they have his soul despite being painted by aline
There is nothing in the game to back this up.
Not enough to keep painting the second someone offers him an out.
Considering the canvas is in her house
It's in Renoir's house. The manor belongs to the Dessendre family not the Dessendre-[insert Aline's maiden name] family.
There is nothing in the game to back this up.
Destroying Verso's soul destroys the canvas. meaning everything in it was linked to his soul.
Nobody gives a fuck about Nightrein and Geppetto was a polar opposite of Renoir in terms of personality, he willfully deluded himself into thinking he can bring his son back, raped an entire town because of it, turned Carlo's best friend into a mecha and nearly killed a being that's literally his son without his memories.
Although the parallels between LoP and E33 are amusing.
How do you know that Renoir was the Dessendre before marriage? How do you know the house didn't change name after the marriage.
But in any case that is irrelevant. Since they are married they share assets.
That does not mean they have his soul. That just means they die because the supporting foundations on the house they were squatting in got demolished.
Neither argument (that lumierens possess Verso's soul or that they don't) are supported by the game, the only thing known for sure is that the fragment of his soul is what's keeping the canvas functional.
E33 is a mediocre jrpg hyped to hell because jrpgs are dead.
There is nothing in the game to back this up.
I think kid Verso says it in the Flying Manor
Pretty sure everything made with the chroma inside the painting has a piece of his soul
How do you know that Renoir was the Dessendre before marriage?
Because Clea calls Alicia to go to Renoir's atelier. Not Aline's atelier, nor the family atelier either, and it's the only one in the entire mansion.
I wish people like you wouldn't make posts like this without a screenshot of it being said. I'm not even saying you're wrong, it's just annoying because it adds nothing. People that don't wanna believe you won't, people that do wanna believe you will, and people on the fence won't be moved. What's the point?
Considering that Renoir himself says that it was Aline that taught him to paint. It is very unlikely she doesn't have a place where she paints.
Because it's not true. He's misremembering the kid verso in the flying manor having a personal opinion that everything in the painting is just as alive as the people outside of it, not that they all have his soul.
It could encourage someone less lazy to go through the kids dialogue.
Considering that Renoir himself says that it was Aline that taught him to paint
He taught him how to paint without being a potrait junkie. He flat out tells you she taught him "how to fly without soaring too close to the sun". Renoir could already paint before her, but would get lost in the escapism.
The point stands that Aline was more experienced. She would obviously have her space to paint.
Yes, but not an aterlier in the manor. We know this because you eventually get access to every room. That it's called his while the others (going by places where you actually have easels where something is being painted) have to do their painting in the garden upstairs or in their rooms shows that ownership of the manor is Renoirs.
As I said before. They are married. So they share assets.
The point anon is trying to make is not about quality but rather authenticity. It's not an "indie" game in the literal sense. It's a game clearly backed by several big-money organizations.
Then Clea would have called it "our parents atelier".
Well they can have individual rooms. And still own the manor together.
The children also have their rooms yet they don't own them.
Was it ever pushed as an indie game by anyone? It's a small company with good funding, I haven't seen people disputing it being called AA.
at the expense of your brothers tortured soul
fag
Not me.
I choose the dude.
Clea and Renoir will pull her out and spank her eventually. She'll move on someday, anon.
>they have his soul despite being painted by aline
There is nothing in the game to back this up.
I think Anon was referring to Kid Verso saying everything within the canvas is as real as outside, "even [Aline's] creations"
It's less they "have his soul", more "they have his soul's blessing to exist"
I'm not calling any of the things you're saying into question. I'm saying the mere fact that the big grand painting workshop in the house is Renoir's means that he is the master of the manor.
She says to Verso during the ending that she can live inside the canvas, while outside she can merely exist. This, to me, is a clear reference to her broken body.
retards really think that the worst african shithole is equal to a random town in sout america or SEA just because both fall under the definition of third world
You're missing the point.
Renoir is an obsessive man, shown time and time again between his Painted avatar and his actions in Act 3.
It makes sense for his more talented wife to paint wherever while he toils away in a dedicated workshop.
She has the grace to give him space to do his thing, something he refused to give her when she was grieving and trying to work through her feelings by creating a "what if" scenario through her work.
That's literally the conclusion I came to and pointed out in . That said, outright says "they have his soul"
but most browns from latin america are catholic, hence they embrace western conservative values.
Has she ever considered praying to sigmar?
just let them grieve bro
most browns from latin america are catholic
how can they be catholic if only White people have souls
This game was just Ashes if Ariandel but a full game.
The logic is simple
Then after WW2 a shit ton of suburbs were erected that are great for having a nuclear family but are shit for having extended family in one place (Americans have a culture of 1 person or couple to a room, 2 if they are both kids).
The lack of space leads to a culture of pushing kids moving out and getting their own places because there is no room.
The kids go and live their own separate lives in homes that again can only contain a nuclear family which becomes a problem when the parents get to old to take care of themselves and the kids don't have the money to upkeep both their properties and their parent's nor to they have the resources for a caretaker.
And so they sell off their parents houses and use the funds plus the parents retirement funds to get them in retirement homes of varying quality.
However this all went to shit after the 08 collapse because a bunch of big companies bought up all the houses and so Americans are learning how to navigate having more people to a smaller space again.
Brb I'm dipping into my VR world where I get to process my emotions, see you for dinner in 12 hours
NOOOOO YOUR EYES ARE BLEEDING PAIIIINT
I'm being facetious, but the main conflict is Renoir not trusting his family to handle their emotions, leading to these standoffs. The 67 year war between him and Aline is rooted in him not trusting her to come up for air before she drowns - and there's enough in the narrative to justify that fear, and also paint him as overly protective. Especially when it then comes to Maelle v Verso repeating the same argument, and Maelle saying in no uncertain terms that she intends to stay in the painting until she dies.
Painted Renoir is a tragic figure
Real Renoir is just an asshole. I don't care what his motivation is, his threat to burn the cavas is on par with literally every jrpg villain who threatens to destroy the world because of their own bullshit.
a reasonable post acknowledging that the game is nuanced and intentionally left up to your interpretation
What are you some kind of faggot? You're not even gonna say one ending is the good one?
The Conquistadores bred the Catholicism into them along with a fraction of a soul.
That's mormonism. You're talking about mormonism.
because of their own bullshit.
Because of the safety of his family. People doing terrible things for the wellbeing of their family can be compelling.
The game stops caring about the canvas as a world and you should also.
It's not necessarily Verso's soul, it could also be Aline's, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter.
Their reality is not just the canvas itself, they have their own meaningful existence, understanding and experience, they relate to each other and have an understanding of their own world. From a philosophical standpoint they are real, no matter if their world was painted or "natural".
It doesn’t.
Maelle keeps bringing up the other people in the canvas even in her final duel with Verso.
And THAT SAME BOY still chose to end it because he was essentially Atlas holding up the sky.
Only Atlas wasn't an innocent child
She brings up the party once, that's not an appeal to the people of the painting, its an appeal to the party as traveling companions and friends.
I read the logic, but it doesn't really make sense to me.
Where I grew up it also follows the logic of "1 person or couple to a room, 2 if they are both kids" and yet we don't go "you're 18 now here's the door" nor did we establish a culture of that being the norm.
If the kid wants to leave, the parents let them but let them know they can always call on family if things get rough. Then as the years go by, it's just our culture to go "you two raised me up when I was young and week, now it's my turn to take care of you now that you're old and feeble".
The kids go and live their own separate lives in homes that again can only contain a nuclear family which becomes a problem when the parents get to old to take care of themselves
See, this is the part where you lose me.
If we're going with your logic of "family has kid. kid grows old. kid leaves nest. grown up kid starts family of his own" then the logic of that would dictate that when the parents are too old to take care of themselves their children's children will have already moved out to start families of their own. The elderly can move in after renovating the room of the kids who moved out.
Dress for the job you want not the one you have.
Because they don’t really talk for that long.
She also brings them up to her father.
And every relationship quest is about the emotions and feelings of people in the canvas.
If literally a single Dessendre wasn't a shithead none of this shit would've happened.
If Aline didn't decide to fuck off and die in the painting Verso's painting would've just been left alone. If she didn't blame Alicia then Alicia wouldn't've been mindbroken.
If Renoir had supported his family through their grief instead of destructively projecting his own then Aline would've wanted to live in a painting. Alicia wouldn't've been mindbroken. Clea wouldn't've closed herself off. He could've entered the painting and convinced Aline to come back to her family without waging war and destroying everything.
If Alicia had realised that she wasn't really responsible for Verso's death and that her family still cared about her despite being fucking terrible at expressing it then maybe she would've been able to handle real life. She could've just repaired the painting and then rejoined and repaired the relationships with her family.
If Clea wasn't such a bitch she could've decided not to pour fuel on the fire. Could've decided not to bully and retraumatize her sister. Could've given half a shit and helped even a modicum. The intention is to show Clea's way of handling grief was to close herself off and become a cunt, but that isn't an excuse for being a cunt.
And also it looked like Verso was just chilling in that fire waiting to die in that one cutscene. I choose to believe that wasn't just Alicia's nightmare and Verso was just a dumbass who thought he could eat fire or some shit.
Not to be that guy who responds to a (You), but this made me laugh way too hard not to give a response.
But seriously, I love these threads because after a while people ignore the hyperbole about good v bad endings, and then give have really fucking cool discussions. Like when someone pointed out Alicia's letter was begging for Maelle to find a third route, down to it being signed off as "a life to dream" - it recontextualised the whole Reacher scene for me. And someone else noticed Verso eyeing a grave during the Gustave funeral scene that can be taken as that being Julie's grave.
I'll keep posting balanced takes until these threads die out - other people's interpretations and observations are like crack to me, and I refuse to devolve to the usual Anon Babble bluster of "I'm right and if you disagree you're a cuck"
If Renoir had supported his family through their grief instead of destructively projecting his own then Aline would've wanted to live in a painting.
For all we know Aline dove in as soon as she found out Verso died. The timeline isn't that specific anon.
If Alicia had realised that she wasn't really responsible for Verso's death
But she was. Whatever her actions were they were the thing that writers needed to set their house on fire.
I know what you mean, I got a lot out of my playthrough and every additional little detail makes me smile. Great game. Now get back to bad faith arguments. Verso committed genocide and everyone in Lumiere is mindcontrolled by Alicia.
This. I would've sided with Maelle if she calls Verso her onii-chan even once.
Palicia only wanted to die after Verso fumbles the letter and Aline gets kicked out because at that point there's no third option from her POV
Verso killed his sister
renoir's journal suggests that aline was basically mindbroken and stopped talking to anyone
she walks her path and i walk mine. i don't exist to her. none of us do.
That's not how responsibility works. She was tricked into doing something that lead to Verso's death. It very obviously wasn't her intent and likely didn't involve anything willfully dangerous. According to what is presented in the narrative the responsibility for Verso's death is on the 'Writers', not on Alicia.
Palicia does not look like that
According to what is presented in the narrative the responsibility for Verso's death is on the 'Writers'
So Alicia then. She's got a fuckton of books and a typewriter in her room, after all.
Wholeheartedly agree, the whole plot is the direct result of the Dessendres. Which makes Renoir's apology to Verso so nauseating.
That said, some notes.
If Aline didn't decide to fuck off and die in the painting Verso's painting would've just been left alone
True, but without that Lumiere literally wouldn't exist. So here we are.
He could've entered the painting and convinced Aline to come back to her family without waging war and destroying everything.
Agreed, but it's not in his nature. The parallels we see with Painted Renoir show that while he's fuelled by good intentions, Renoir is incapable of actually connecting and convincing his family. All of Act 3 could have been avoided with a healthy conversation.
"Papa, this is my home now. Repaint the people"
"Alicia, I'm so happy you found a way out of your grief, but come on. You know this isn't real. How about we go home and you come and visit your friends once we've sorted things out?"
"Okay fiiiiiine"
If Alicia had realised that she wasn't really responsible for Verso's death and that her family still cared about her despite being fucking terrible at expressing it then maybe she would've been able to handle real life.
Ignoring my "but she's a Writer" conspiracy bullshit, I definitely agree the bit about handling real life. But what complicates this is her life as Maelle. She spent 16 years outside the canvas and 16 years inside, she isn't equipped to understand what is or isn't real at that point.
If Clea wasn't such a bitch she could've decided not to pour fuel on the fire
God yes, she's the only one with the talent to outpaint Aline and the sense of "this shit isn't serious" to actually fix the situation, but she's The Most Over This Shit girl in the world. Instead she ignores that Lumierians are sapient and treated this whole thing like her mom just got super obsessed over home videos.
writers
I want to know more about them and their whole deal
What is mightier - the pen or the brush?
Going by the story, the writers have to resort to underhanded tactics like taking advantage of a kids naivety to kill her brother, so until another game or a dlc showing painters doing the same shit back at them comes out, the painters seem to be the stronger group.
