Hoyo recently updated the anticheat in Genshin and it has been giving some people errors when trying to run the game with the mod injector open. The errors just log the user out and there haven't been any bans, but it seems to be a bad sign.

Apparently there HAVE been a few bans but it's hard to verify those as legit and not just random fearmongering. IIRC they were just trying to crack down on legit cheats/hacking and not necessarily visual mods, but I'm going to play it safe and stay away until they implement a proper workaround in the mod launchers.
