Nothing like the pre-PS4 eras where all consoles were radically different from each other and from PCs. The code for PS1s Tomb Raider on PC is roughly the same level of complexity in difference as porting a PS4/5 coded game to PC. Yes, it's that simple today and we still get trash programmed ports.

Switch emulators are a mess and the switch emulator coders are no talent hacks. It was only in the past 2 years that average people's CPUs could run a switch with minor issues, and we still get problems of needing constant emu-hack updates after every specific game release. This is because as I said the emulators are just trash and in a sorry state. A proper emulator doesn't require 7 hotfix releases to make Zelda 2 Electric Boogaloo run "normally" when all the code is practically the same as Zelda 1.
The switch 2 won't be easily emulated due to the hardware upgrade for years. Oh I'm sure your 9800x3d will be good enough, 98% of people don't have that and wont have that level of CPU for another 5 years at least.
