What does Anon Babble think of the Switch?
What does Anon Babble think of the Switch?
I like my Switch next to my Series X. My PC collects dust.
Are you posting from Switch or Xbox right now?
i like it and I rly like how many weird games have physical releases for it.
I think I'll be playing vidya on it for a long time.
The Wii U burned me out of gaming pretty hard but damn, the Switch brough me back.
Gay
i think its neat
Too big to comfortably carry around.
Specs too shit for home console. The worst of both worlds. Ended up just emulating most of the games while I was at home and using my 3ds instead for I wasn't. I did like the joycons however very comfortable for playing in bed.
My android while I'm at work.

are you a manlet or something? fits in my jeans fine

Mostly seethe

People say this shit as if they could make games like TOTK run on a device the size of a 3DS lmao
In a lot of ways, it's the Vita if it was successful.
But
But nothing. It's a handheld that gets all the weeb stuff.
Yes. It has the best games library ever
my wife’s boyfriend got me one
I don't want TOTK to run on a 3ds. In the past if I wanted to play something like TOTK I would have bought the more powerful console but now they've cannibalized their handhelds and forced every handheld user to buy this freakish chimera. I don't get the option between portable or powerful anymore. It's just one device that does neither well.
It's a home console you can take off the main TV and play in your hands like the Wii U, when I bought a Wii U that was the fact that I was most looking forward to, since at the time we only had one TV in the house and everybody wasn't eternally attached to their phones or tablets in my house yet.
you sound like a bitch lol
The DS and 3DS both had exponentially better libraries than the Switch.
Personally? Disappointing. The hybrid console concept is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The first party lineup is massively overrated, as well. It sucked for anyone who didn’t miss out on previous generations and/or isn’t into jrpgs (or similar weebshit).
I get why the console is popular, but somehow, it felt like I wasn’t the target audience despite having been a tendie for two decades.
Shit.
Recently sold mine and everything i had for it;
Controllers become wobbly if you grasp the controller with any force, even ONCE
Internal battery is a bitch, glued in, it traded my console in twice just because the capacity had gone downhill
Cant transfer saves without paying for online, both times i traded in i lost all my saves and had to start again.
I hate it so fucking much and am glad to be rid of it.
We're never going back to that games take too much time and effort.
If Nintendo went back to having a home console and a portable console developers would struggle hard to put out games for both of them.
The Switch is the perfect middle point.
hey bro i just want to let you know something. nobody else read this comment it's just between me and this anon.
alright stop reading
(ok anon i have to tell you this... the reason you think this way is because you're old now)
become wobbly if you grasp the controller with any force
If you grasp the console in handheld mode****
it traded my console in
I traded my console in
Sorry, drinking.
Internal battery is a bitch, glued in
Finally, someone gets it. Those fuckers have an obscene amount of glue on them, and the console is a flimsy shit to work on. The shell, fasteners, and connectors almost seem like they want to break.
Regular switch is a 4/10
Hacked switch is a 7/10
Alright Anon Babbleros, Who did and did not get their store invite today?
I sure as shit didn't. Guess it'll be 2 years before I get one.
Hacked switch is a 7/10
I would probably agree. It sounds retarded, but I got tired of screwing around with my setup. I might come back when I no longer have a need for online play of any kind. It’s hard to commit to it when the Deck does almost everything better, though.
hacked wii was a 10 hacked wii U was a 12
Yeah. It's only day 1 though.
As for my OG Switch, I love it
got mine right before the first batch was over, i got lucky
glad you got yours man. If I'm being honest, I 100 percent expect them to only have enough to send emails out for day 1. I work in retail, and if I'm lucky and our dipshits at corporate don't fuck up like they did with the xbox and ps5 launches, I might have a snowball's chance in hell, but I'm not holding my breath.
Hey man sick, be sure to expand dong in my stead
A potato, for third-party games, thanks to it lasting 3 years longer than it should have, and having laughably low RAM (and you have Capcom to thank for to bring up to 4GB, when Nintendo wanted it to be merely 2GB, because Capcom kept complaining about the lack of RAM and kept begging Nintendo to double it).
Even the Vita wasn't as much of a potato compared to the PS3 for games ported to both.
hacked wii was a 10
Maybe if you missed out on GC era games and lumped them in with wii games
Worst console I ever bought, I only played it a few times.
Best nintendo console since the SNES
More like worst console since n64
Same goes for the controllers.
One of the best game consoles ever made
Nintendo's best library of games by a long shot
Still haven't bought the new sd cards yet. That's gonna be a pain to get.
Plus moving my save files to the new system seems like it would be impossible without subscribing to nso for one month.
same
Any 'handheld' with exposed/protruding rubber analog sticks, is not a portable device, as far as i'm concerned. You cannot pocket them without risking fucking them up.
Also the switch will develop 'controller wobble' if you pocket it even once.
Clamshell or bust.
Not allowing for manual save backups is why I didn't buy a switch 1 until it was hackable
Same will go for switch 2
Imagine letting a company control your save files, couldn't be me
You don't need to have NSO to system transfer
The tradeoff is that pancake control sticks are so dogshit you'd rather just use a d-pad
3DS' sticks were awful
If you do a system transfer doesn't it lock your old system out from being used anymore?
Iv'e never used a 3ds, but i didnt mind the 'pancake' stick on the PSP, though its position was a bit uncomfy.
Also, i probably shouldve posted a better pic; GPD uses normal full analog sticks, they are just sunken in.
I remember it asking me if I "wanted to keep using the old console" but I'm not sure what happens if you agree to that. NS1 to NS2 might be different.
Not only that, but there are a number of games that don't support cloud saves, so you have to do a system transfer.
Didn’t get the nintendy invite for switch 2
Fuck me this was my last chance to get one
