RDR plays better, the controls are more responsive due to Rockstar not leaning into this whole "realism" thing back in the day. But it's a 14 year old game at this point. That's 2 gens old. Was 8 years old when RDR2 came out. It's not as feature or customization heavy and not as expensive in terms of the presentation. The story is worth it though I think. So if you liked the story of RDR2 I'd say it's worth it.

Did you become invested into John as a character in the closing chapters of the game? Do you want to see how it continues and how does it ultimately end? Because it's basically that. You get to see those resolutions. If you don't care about that then it's probably not worth it I guess.

i did play the john part but i was burnt out by then. other than story stuff i don't think i did all the side stuff. i did ride around, go to markers, so i did see the changes around the world, but i was rushing through by that part so no i wasn't invested in it for sure.
i wish they would have done more with that part where you're on the tropical island. and there was that whole mexico part of map, why did they never use that?
