Home sweet home.
Home sweet home
1.2 Million + tip
unpainted drywall in the pointless hallway before the bedroom
those doors in the hallway to the bedroom would be annoying, make it doorless or remove the hallway
makes it more like a motel
The hallway is soundproofing for the loud sex in the bedroom
pointless hallway
it's your gaming room
gooncave
I also just realized that's tile on the floor in there and not a carpet
why do you need soundproofing in a 1br house?
because the husband is in the living room playing with his nintendo switch 2
fixed
Bro, he doesn't have a toilet.
home..
that's where the bathroom goes
inzoi just seemed to vanish after a week of hard shilling, was it that shit?
we already watched jerma play it
He shits on the flowers to save on fertilizer
Just reminded everybody that they can still play the older Sims games.
yep, just the essentials
What's the best option right now? 3?
Post the chad PYRAMID house.
Amerigolem's dream cardboard house
no toilet

I mean it's more of a demo at this point than a real game, when you can meet someone and marry them within 5 minutes the game gets stale real fast.
That's the cuck hall. It's like the cuck chair but more discreet and tasteful. It complements the large entry window positioned directly above the bed for lovers to sneak into OP's wife's bedroom.
Whats with americans living within paper thin walls?
kek
Honestly never played a Sims past 2, but was just thinking about reinstalling 2. I'm not sure how it compares, but I remember thinking of 3 as the point where the series became EA-ified
Sims 3 plus most of the addons and nraas mod.

Contractors have no incentive to make houses that are actually good. Instead they just make houses that LOOK good.
They used to build simple prefab rectangle houses that were dirt cheap. But now it's all weird overcomplicated designs because they look better.
Part of why my generation will never own a home.
add another room to that retarded hallway so that it at least makes some sense
They don't even build houses anymore. It doesn't maximize profit. Developers build duplex townhomes that cost just as much as a single family home but they can squeeze two per lot, doubling their money.
Alright Satan, I'll reinstall.
Origin doesn't exist anymore
???
EA Application
What a dumb name.
Yeah kind of
There's not that much to do really. For having cities of that size you would have figured there would be more buildings you could enter, even if they were just rabbit holes. You don't have to go out to shop for food or clothes or anything, feels even easier to get married to someone within your first conversation with them than it is in the Sims, building is a little jank. It has some nice aesthetic features like being able to make your city look like it was bombed out in a nuclear war but the actual gameplay is pretty lacking
It's really content bare. It's a decent foundation, but just a foundation. It will be neat when you can text your AI girlfriend in-game.
holy sovl user interface
play sims
sim can't do anything by itself, like literally
it won't feed itself, it won't clean up after itself, it won't pay bills, it won't choose a better option than 'relaxing' on top of the bed when they're dead tired and need sleep or entertainment
won't seek out friends, won't take care of kids
and then you age up and die
what the actual fuck is this game?
The whole point is you're supposed to control them.
so why let them do anything by themselves at all? it interrupts my stuff that I WANT MY CHARACTER TO DO yet they refuse to do anything that will actually help them, why let the sims even do anything if the point is to control them the entire time?
So they'll always be doing something, even if it's not optimal.
yeah, like sitting on the bed instead of sleeping like they need to do, IE being a useless piece of shit that only serves to interrupt whatever you actually want to do
Shit design, hallways and corridors are a waste of space
tfw bought a two story home in 2019
It's the literal dream folks.
Build a two bedroom home in one floor, without mashing all of the common area rooms into a single "room," on a tiny lot. Like a 1x2 in TS2 gives 7x14 squares of buildable space.
I'm a slav living in a commieblock and even I have 54m2 of space.
Imagine actually, unironically buying a house smaller than this.
Bathroom not connected to the bedroom
why
why do americans love open kitchens so much? it's repulsive
Anyone here use the new EA play whatever it is called?
I can't fucking open Origin anymore because it asks me to download this EA shit.
They're supposed to be "enclosed" by an island, bar, or half wall, leaving only a doorway worth of walkable path in.
imagine having to cross the entire house just to go take a night piss
The rot and decay you see with TS4 simultaneously had and hadn't set in by TS3. On one hand, the expansions still offer way more content than 4's, on the other it still had way more extra shit to buy than TS1 and 2 combined
expansion packs
stuff packs
premium neighborhoods
bonus lots for said premium neighborhoods you have to buy separately
and a bunch of other shit on the online store
it's obviously an air lock to keep you safe from candlejack attac
Same actually. It had been foreclosed on previously so I got it for a bit over $60k and it's valued at doubled right now. I feel bad for people bitching about $1k rent when my mortgage isn't even $700, though I pay additional principal.
house for 60k
is it made out of paper mache?
is it a doll house?
wait no, I've got it, it must be a luxury dog house with heated flooring and snack dispenser
what is this room for?
Ambushes.
no entrance hallway
barbarism
hyperbaric chamber
It's the "mission begins in 30 seconds" room.
Honestly, it's so the moans from the bedroom aren't heard in the living room.
Is there a trick to getting Sims 2 to work on windows 10 because I am installing XP on a virtual machine right now and questioning my life decisions as I watch it slowly copy files.
Study/starter druglab
designated shitting room, duh
no toilet
You're right.
if you want to add more rooms, you can(and should) do it on the ends of that corridor
There's a patch unless you want to buy the new release on Steam
How's the new release?
the build mode is a million times better than the sims. i've played that alone for 60 hours. haven't actually gotten to playing the game though, but it does seem somewhat shallow in depth. but it's early access.
That hallway exists in case you punch a hole through a wall and dont want to smell the food in your bedroom from the kitchen
Nobody remembers this, but TS3 was hated for its aggressive microtransactions. By the end of its life it was worse than TS4, showing the paid items down your throat right on the top of the buy mode catalogues.
allow me to be guessing
you are in need of more?
terrible feng shui in the bedroom
they could literally make them so everything is done by them. what would be the point then ?
it's on purpose that they are a little retarded
Maybe I should play Sims again. I liked the minigame of learning skills so my Sims get promoted at work.
