You know I feel bad for Renee. Like sure she's a sociopath but imagine being a teen mom who struggled through college and then has to work due to your debt and barley scrapping by. Your second child is a monster who on the best of days is getting herself in trouble at school and on the worst of days results in the death of one of her classmates. And there's your son, who in a different life you might have truly loved but due to how things have played out all he's good for is fixing the monster's mistakes and squandering any potential he had. And you can't do anything about it cause yourself overworked and stressed about the bills and so is your husband who himself is working himself half to death so the only hope you have is that your son watches over her and not fail to keep her in line.
By the time that they're teenagers your still living in that apartment that's way to small for the entire family and not much has improved. You know your daughter wants to fuck your son, you can see it in her eyes, and you know that she killed that girl but what are you going to do, ruin your own life and the one of the only person you ever actually loved. So when you hear your kids are going to be killed by some shadow government shit part of you is relieved and take the money. It's not like you can stop them, they're going to be dead and if you try to speak up you will be too. At least you can move out of that apartment and that monster you created can't be a problem anymore.

speaking og the vision room I heard that you unlock all the visions by collecting the stars on the playthrough but i only got 5 visions and all of them i unlocked by picking up the items like the coffe mug and phone in Andrews route

The stars and the visions seem to be separate things. There are 7 stars and 5 visions to be found.

Renee is Ashley if she was raised to be functional. She's still an angry mess who causes herself problems and is prepared to murder people, but she's not a threat to random bystanders and she has a healthier relationship. If they hadn't committed to selling the kids, I would've said it was healthy outright, it just didn't extend to their children. She was always volatile, but there was a chance she could've gone through life without doing anything serious. Getting pregnant and fucking up her kids was avoidable. Ashley meanwhile was inevitably going to blow up at some point.
