The single section where that dipshit cat and high elf duo play pranks on the guildmaster is better than the entire Mage's college quest in Skyrim.

Morrowind is impossible to remake without scrapping everything that was amazing in it.

True, modern audiences are so brain damaged that they will see all the good things about Morrowind and think that they are actually bad.

I'm just going to say the comment about variety is fucking bullshit. Oblivion has like 5-6 light and heavy armor sets, and due to the aggressive level scaling the game has, around 2-3 of them will spawn in the game at most at any time.
In comparison, base Skyrim has 13 light and heavy armor sets not including unique sets.

every guild quest is a fetch quest with no overarching story

i love morrowind but they should redo the quests for some of the guilds if they do remaster it, i like some busy work quests since it feels like you're a low level member of the guild but it should ramp up at some point

They can't remaster it without changing it drastically which will make it a remake.
They will have to completely change dialogue system, add quest markers and fast travel for modern audiences

Too one note. I've tried to get into it twice, but never could. Dungeon crawling was fun. Naked girls running around all over the place was great. I wish that the temple factions had stuck around. That was about it.

I would rank Daggerfall about equal to Skyrim. Every non-Morrowind TES game is just mindless slop where you turn your brain off and zone out, but Daggerfall is surely more fun than Oblivion. The character creator is really fucking good.
Also, I would say the Mages Guild is almost mandatory to join because it contains a huge chunk of the game's overall content. It's like the only way to do Daedric Quests without having to read a guide for the location of some unmarked bumfuck witch coven.
