Switch 1 being so easily emulated was an outlier because we had proper emulation of the 2014 era Nvidia chips years prior

You ain't gonna get an emulator for five years minimum. NO shared hardware between Switch 1 and Switch 2, SoC is both customized by Nintendo and its original version isn't well documented, you can bet your ass the hardware rail short that's on Switch 1 isn't present on Switch 2.

We dunno yet, everybody's playing it by ear. SUPPOSEDLY Nintendo has a metric fuckton of stock lined up but we have no idea how much of it is actually stateside yet and assigned to retailers. Nintendo themselves aren't opening up their own website preorders until next month.
