I played it. I remember finishing the whole page of the top ride achievements and only missed a handful in the other modes. The only thing that always bothered me is that City Trial ends with one challenge only instead of multiple. Regular races, City Trial and Top Ride were fun in their own different ways.

Air Ride has me curious, whether or not Sakurai's going to go full Everyone is Here to justify what's likely going to be ~10 tracks + City Trial on a $70 game or if he's going to go Jap pride autism and make it Kirby only + Dedede and Meta Knight because he didn't make anyone else.

I'm not entitled enough to get upset over Sakurai doing a game I'm not interested in, but holy hell was this the most random game to bring back. I can't believe he's been dying for 20 years to do a sequel to Air Ride of all things. Here's to hoping it's fun.

It won't be fun. For god's sake Kirby Air Ride sold WORSE than Star Fox Adventures an unfinished bastardization go figure. And Kirby's characters aren't popular compared to the other racers. Kirby himself is kind of niche overall as far as Nintendo associated franchises. The only compliment you can give to Kirby is that his characters are more recognizable than say Fire Emblem characters.

But if they were to make a Final Fantasy 7 Dedicated Racing game those characters alone would be more popular than Kirby characters. Kirby's Air Ride is a vanity project for Sakurai to prove he's not merely the Smash Guy.

That's because Disney Speedstorm is one of those Not A Real Video Game type situations. Its not a console game its a rip off gacha like Mario Kart Tour except that it got ported onto consoles much later on. So that's why it holds less respect among gamers than even Mickey's Speedway USA. Also the graphics look ugly even Epic Mickey has better graphics than that. And they refuse to put characters like Sora from Kingdom Hearts which I assure you is the ONE Disney gaming character people actually care about. Such a pitiful excuse for a game.
