Out of the 8 new subclasses I have played so far, the most disappointing one was the Death domain cleric.

Its got really great replayability, especially for the genre, and Larian keeps patching in new reasons to do another playthrough.

Paused my patch 8 while i play expedition 33. Space kino cant come soon enough.

Age of Decadence used to be my favorite niche pervert RPG but after replaying BG3 so much it's easily BG3 now. I find the entire thing enjoyable. I never reach a point where I'm disappointed to have combat, and dialog regularly has new little lines based on choices/class/race/origin character/etc where even after multiple playthroughs I see new little pieces here and there. Even though it's not cool to say that a big mainstream blockbuster hit is your favorite RPG I do love playing the fucker

Been playing without a cleric and it's felt weird, but playing on custom difficulty to enable the extra spells/abilities/items from tactics mode but not the increased dice rolls has been a blast. Casual enough I can tard around with my characters but still spices up some encounters

I used the cheaters scroll to give myself the spore servant for my necromancer powerfantasy. It’s OP as fuck but it’s really cool controlling the npcs and seeing how they function. I basically killed Karniss, resurrected him without looting his lantern, and now he is my personal lantern bearer as I wander around act 2

Having a lot of options I guess. I've been replaying in a way that goes against all the decisions I've made previously. It's been interesting seeing how much encounters and locations can differ.
Siding with Ketheric in Act 2 has been pretty fun so far but killing off half the potential companions off has been rough.

Ye. Githyanki Bladesinger; Phalar Aluve and Booming Blade makes it feel like a mobile Paladin. I have a buddy that drops in and out as a Human Swashbuckler whenever we're both on and he seems to be having a good time.

Only thing I don't like about Patch 8 so far is I'm not noticing any unique dialogue options for the new subclasses I've tried. I imagine there are a couple lines for Crown Paladin at least but can anyone verify?

But the combat in the game and the encounters in general are so good it's actually worth playing it through the story just for it alone.

I'm not well versed in the lore or all the subclasses but I imagine some subclasses go without any dialogue. Can't picture any scenarios where an Arcane Archer Fighter would pipe up. Good to hear there are some for more involved classes like Hexblade.
